[OPEN LOG]
who: Marinette and OPEN
what: Marinette's getting out and going around the city -- probably sooner than she's supposed to. Ah well.
when: 9/30
where: All around the city
warnings: None I can think of.
Format: Prose or Action, take your pick!
Morning : Shopping
[ Well she lost her stuff in the battle that she...er.. LADYBUG had been involved in, so she was out to see if she could get some more. The very observant may notice she's moving a little slower than she normally does. She's not unaware of her surroundings either - in fact, she's ramped up her perception by a hundred, keeping especially aware of the area. Although if she encounters someone, particularly someone she knows, she is quick to perk up and act as cheerfully as she normally does, even if it does feel a little forced. Otherwise she's just trotting along with her bag - though at one point her spool of ribbons falls from her bag and starts to roll away to freedom, leaving her to stare after it in disappointment. ]
... oh COME ON..! [ Welp, time to hunt down her ribbon. ]
Afternoon : Gym
Bruises or no bruises, letting her training slack was not something she wanted to do - besides, she needed to stay in shape and keep limber. So at some point in the afternoon she's wandered off to the gym, poking her head in in the hopes that there wouldn't be anyone presently there. If there was someone present - well, she'd just have to deal with it. She trotted inside and where she normally would change into her exercise outfit, she doesn't this time, keeping on the long sleeved shirt and pants as she picked out a spot and started limbering up, wincing from time to time.Uh.. it's because she's getting old, yeah. Anyone who enters gets a curious glance and a pleasant smile of greeting. ]
Evening : Cafe
[ Crazy how being out all day can be totally draining, right? Right. At least that's what Marinette's thought - normally she'd head straight 'home' after exercising, but today she wanted to linger outside a little longer. It was mildly troubling she hadn't been able to go Ladybug lately, but as much as she taxed the Miraculous during that fight, she couldn't be surprised. She just had to be plain old Marinette for a few days, that was all. So she decided she'd enjoy the night air a little, stopping at an outdoor cafe to rest up, have a snack and a drink before heading back home. She has a drawing pad on the table near her, but her attention is more focused on other things. Feel free to pay a visit, she'd love the company from people she does and doesn't know alike! ]

[He lifted a hand to flash the silver rings on his fingers before he took a drag off his cigarette.]
Besides, you're lying. No mind, pet. I've got others that don't mind a nibble. I'm hardly going to attack you.
Unless you want me to.
[Smirk.]
no subject
Ahahaha, no. Noooooooooooo. I'll pass, thanks.
[ She grins. ]
So what have YOU been up to?
no subject
[One quirked brow, insinuating that Spike had been a naughty boy the last while. True, but he'd also been a bored boy. And a mopey boy. And a brooding alone in his crypt boy.]
no subject
No nononono, I wasn't asking about ..anything like that. I mean, that's not any of MY business. But, I mean. What do vampires even do when they're not... vampiring about.
[ Is a vampiring a word? It is now! ]
no subject
[Something he only seemed to care about when it suited him. He happily ignored it when he was doing something like... hitting a woman who hit him first.]
no subject
I meant more like.. well, reading for starters. [ ... ... ... And something dawns on her and she waves her hands quickly. ]
WAIT WAIT - [ SORRY SPIKE, SHe forgot there were dirty magazines and stuff! ]
I mean.. REGULAR reading material. Library reading material.
no subject
Not really the library type, Pet. I like my telly, but it gets crap reception here and it doesn't have Passions.
[Yes, Marinette. Spike liked his stories.]
no subject
Passions?
[ It .. kind of sounds like a seedy romance drama but ... that can't be it... ]
What's that about?
no subject
[Minor squirming, but not really. He was open about his enjoyment of the cheesy daytime show.]
no subject
Judging from the title of the show I'm guessing it's like.. soap opera stories? [ Which blows her mind really. Who knew someone like him would be into that stuff? ]
no subject
[Psh, Marinette. He had taste.]
no subject
I'll take your word for it. I actually haven't seen that one - although I've... heard tales.
None of them good.

Is that how you got into them? Sitting around the house all day? [ Do vampires have houses? ]

Well, when I go back home I'll have to look into what kind of soap operas they have on -- though I doubt it'll be the same kind of thing as your Passions.
