[ Following Loki's directions isn't difficult, particularly considering how long he's spent studying the streets and getting lost all around the Quarantine over the course of his first few weeks here. Having the name of the place helps too, so if he happens to get the streets mixed up, he simply asks some passer-by for help.

Eventually he gets to the bar Loki picked, stepping inside and taking a look around. It's not too modern or overly sophisticated, but it doesn't look cheap either. He especially likes some of the decorative elements, the swords and shields hanging on the walls. Shrugging off his jacket so he's down to his trousers, shirt and vest, he starts looking at the people in there, spotting a striking figure by the counter with her back turned to him— and he makes his way over, keeping a good distance until he's sure he didn't get it wrong. ]

[ She nods, satisfied enough to open up a little. ]

I couldn't unless it was an outright illusion. When it comes to shapeshifting that's physical and I can't look like anything but myself in whatever body I have.

[ He chuckles at that, shaking his head. ]

That's not... what I meant. What I was getting at is that you're very... unique. There aren't any women like you. [ He waves his fingers a little, not quite letting go of her hand. ] Anyway, it was a compliment. Sort of? [ Look, he tried. ]

Steve Trevor, are you flirting with me?

[ Mouth falling open in mock-surprise. ]

[rightly]

[ And cue fluster. ]

What? No! No, I— no. I was just being nice, I swear to you. It wasn't some sort of... uh. Move. [ That's what people call it, right. ]

Because if you were flirting, it has to be with more than just one side of me.

[ Quirking a brow pointedly at her chest, which sometimes is much flatter. Or foxier. ]

[ Alright yes, thank you Loki for reminding him of that. He kicks himself mentally for following her gaze to her own chest, then he looks back up. ]

I'm not. I wasn't. But if it makes a difference, you're also very— [ cough ] —striking as a man. And before you ask— that's not me flirting.

Striking.

[ That pleases her immensely to hear, flushing pink as she chuckles. ]

Why isn't that considered flirting, Steve? What do you think would happen if it were?

Because— I don't have any ulterior motives. Flirting implies a certain purpose, a different... objective in mind. I'm only complimenting you.

[ He's not even going to answer the last question alright. Don't even look at him. ]

... Okay, Steve. Thank you for the compliment.

[ Loki will smile and dance and give his hand a grateful squeeze, although the topic will be revisited at a later date. Not on their date, is all. ]

[ Good, let the poor man have one night thinking he's in the clear. He should know better, probably, but well. ]

[ Don't mind as Loki rests her head on his shoulder when the music changes, giving them both a rest from looking at each other. It's a lot easier just to sway with him. ]

[ Well, he is better at swaying, probably because it doesn't involve a lot of moving around or complicated steps. It's something of a more intimate nature, granted, but Steve rather likes it. Even if it's not quite the same as the last time he swayed. ]
