Log: Too much walking shoes worn thin
who: Jason Todd
what: Jason exploring and being down during Tavernfest.
when: September 24th- October 5th
where: Around the city
warnings: Some heavy drinking, cursing and possibly fighting. update: nsfw in Loki thread.
A: Perimeter Guard Headquarters
Jason hadn't been sure where he would be assigned to today, he had come in again freshly sobered and just a coming off the tail end of a hang over from being out at Tavernfest the night before. He always tried to make sure he was sober by the time he was due to work in the AM. He was in proper uniform and like always his guns were strapped to his thighs. Being at work was the only time he really had a chance to let the weapons out or have a chance to use them.
To many heroes in the city for him to really get much of a chance to do much. He tried to hide a yawn as he stood quietly killing time.
B: Tavernfest + Bookstore
Jason had hurried home once he was done with work, changing quickly into the fancy clothes he had bought the first day of the festival. Slicking his hair into a proper Victorian style, and grabbing the cane shaped umbrella, and hurrying back out the door. Only a quick hello offered to his roommates as he quickly changed by his bed and left.
Stopping at different places to try the different foods and the pairing options. It was fun, he had never had much of a chance back home to do stuff like this. It was nice. He walked along, the umbrella over his shoulder, a black and red pattern that went well with his suit. Humming a certain Rhianna song to himself since he was bored and moving through the crowds looking for the next place to stop.
"Excuse me." He spoke, squeezing through a small crowd to get to the edge of a bookstore he had not found yet, making his way inside to close the umbrella, tapping the rain off and moved inside to look around. Drinking could wait when there were new books to look at.
C: Jay's favorite Divebar. (After talking to Bruce over the network)
Jason stared solemnly down at the phone in his hands. He was Sitting at his favored place at the bar. Not bothering to play pool, or go out back looking for a fight. His fancy festival jacket hung open as he sat at the bar, the frilly black shirt still in place. His hair was messed all up, and he generally just looked a mess from how fancy he looked the days of Tavernfest. No he sat there quietly working on his drink. Rereading the messages between him and Bruce... not Bruce. Whoever the child was.
Each time his pint was empty he just tapped the glass without looking up.
They had come so far from his rage when he returned to Gotham. So much bad blood, so much time lost... it was his fault of course. Everything was his fault. He kept opening a new text but never sent it. Loki's name waiting for it to be sent but each time he closed it and looked back to Bruce's messages.
How were Dick and Damian handling this? He knew he should go knock on that door and question them, offer an olive branch to help his older brother and his growing house of boys. After all, he had NO doubt at all that Dick was going to take little Bruce in the way Bruce had taken all of them in.
He lifted his finger tapping the glass again.
D: Umbrella
Being Gotham born and bred, Jason knew the fancy umbrella wasn't exactly needed. He was used to miserable rain, it almost never bothered him. It was near midnight that he was out tonight, not dressed up for the festival. Dodging people that got to close as well. Dressed in his normal civilian clothes. His red leather pants he had gotten not to long ago during the acid rains, and a black long sleeved shirt. His big black boots splashing on the sidewalk as he made his way through the night streets. Taking in the sounds of the city, the way he did when he was upset, or just needed to center his energy... the same way he helped calm Bizaaro. Listen to the life of the city.
Cities were alive.
And god did the life of this city make him miss the cesspool he called home. He hated Gotham three fourths of the time, but, it always called him home.

E: Anything else?

[ Jason's openness is always so refreshing. Loki hopes to help him in any way she can. ]
You'd fool everyone but me.
no subject
[ Jason found it easier to be open with people he liked, much like with Roy and Kori back on the island. Not everyone was so lucky to see his true colors, but, he liked Loki. So Loki was an exception.]
Well, that sounds like it could be fun.
no subject
[ More than content to hang off his arm as they round the street with their hotel on it, she lets the topic rest until Jason is ready to pick it back up. ]
Here we are! Home sweet home for tonight.
[ It isn't a five-star but neither is it a dive, a comfortable sort of building where Loki's beaming smile would get them past reception even with Jason wearing his guns. ]
no subject
[ There were plenty of bored days and nights that he could run around and see how hot he might be as a woman. Today was about hanging out with Loki. No matter what gender she choose to be.
Though, he was a little shocked that they got by so easily. He had meant to take the guns off, but it had slipped his mind. It felt right to him having the weight clinging to his legs, just like having Loki at is side. Things that felt good. ]
Home is where you lay your head. [ he agreed, and made sure not to fully quote Metallica.] It's pretty nice.
[ He pushed the button for the elevator.] What floor?
no subject
Loki turns to face him and presses the button for the fourth floor, hands sliding to his waist as the door closes and she crowds him against the wall. ]
Exactly how hungry are you? I have ... a request.
no subject
Oh, I'm plenty hungry, what's the request, I'm sure I can make it happen no matter what it is.
[ There was a hunger in those eyes indeed but, he was good at tampering it when need be.]
no subject
Will you leave these on awhile? [ Her fingers flutter to his thighs and the holsters there, armed as he is like a Midgardian warrior; it's attractive. Loki's weight sinks against Jason's chest and she tilts her head to shoot him some batting lashes. ] In fact ... maybe just stay as you are unless I undress you.
[ Unless he's tired and wants to relax but here he is, dressed up to the nines, and it doesn't sound like he had an overly tiring day. ]
no subject
He moved is hands to her back, one staying around her hips, the other tracing patterns on her back through the shirt, before he chuckled.]
You like the guns, huh? [ Interesting, but nice.] That's fine. I'm just as comfortable like this than anything else. In fact, the idea of you undressing me is much more appealing.
no subject
What a good boy. [ The purr in her voice is genuinely pleased, mischief dancing in her eyes as the elevator pings open. ] Why don't you go and get comfortable on the couch when we get inside and I'll bring your dinner to you? In thanks.
[ Her hand slips into his and she tugs him off the wall. ]
no subject
Good boy? Oh, Loki, I doubt that. [ He replied easily, that purr sent a rush of heat down his spine. AS it pings his eyes shift from her to the open door, squeezing her hand in return and moving along with her like she's a siren leading him to his death. Happily and willingly following.]
You're going to spoil me at this rate.
no subject
[ Her smile crinkles Loki's eyes when she glances over at him, taking the lead to their room. ]
Now, Jason, you spent an entire afternoon guarding a door. That must have been shattering work, the most arduous trial of an assignment ever heard of! I think you deserve a little spoiling.
[ It feels so good to play with mischief again, Jason buoys her spirits every time they meet. More than the obvious physical attraction they have going on, it's his active mind and brilliant capacity for kindness that draws her back, time and again. It's hard to regret him. This.
The suite is open to the main lounge and she notches the card in the wall upon entering, heading over to the breakfast bar where take-out boxes have been covered in foil to keep their contents warm.
Loki waves Jason away to the living room. ]
Now, then! What shall we start with?
no subject
Who am I to argue with you?
[ He had to mentally remind himself not to take his boots off as he followed her inside. Jason was glad he hadn't shut his mind to the idea of Loki when he was first informed of the other him and Loki, it had turned out to be a good choice. One he wised he had opened his mind to years ago. He had no time for regrets now though, not as he made his way in after her.
Another charming grin was flashed Loki's way as he watched her move one way and wave him off. Loki was beautiful in every way he's seen him. He stands still a moment before he walks over to sit on the couch, legs spread as e rested both arms on the back of the couch and tipped his head back. Sprawling for now to just relax on the nice cushions.]
Whatever Lola wants? [ he called back the musical reference. ]
no subject
[ Kicking off her seven-league boots so that she makes her way barefoot to the couch with three boxes piled high, she quirks a curious brow at the reference. Not understanding it doesn't give her pause though, slinging a leg over his lap and settling there at a comfy straddle, take-out placed either side of them as she opens the first box. Loki fully intends on feeding him with the fork she produces, spoiling him as promised. First on the menu is beef noodles!
She won't admit it just yet but the press of the holsters into the backs of her thighs makes for an interesting seat. ]
no subject
Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets, and little man, little Lola wants you.
[ He sang the words he recalled as she straddled him. What a good day this was turning into after all. He couldn't help a cheeky smile that lit up his features when he realized what she was up to. The weight felt good balanced as it was. His guns both had the safety on, so he wasn't worried about a trigger getting brushed.
He had hadn't realized how hungry he was until there smell of the noodles hit him.]
You spoil me. [ He didn't sound like he was complaining at all, quite the opposite. No one had ever done something quiet like this for him before.]
no subject
Little Loki wants you, that's not inaccurate.
[ She picks a thick spring-roll out of one of the nearby tubs to nibble on, offering that too. ]
no subject
Part of him sure Alfred would be frowning, but, not like Alfred would ever know. he arched one of those dark brows in a coy way. ]
It's a mutual feeling.
[ He managed before taking a bite off the spring roll, moving one arm down so he could wrap it around her waist, letting his fingers tease through the shirt.]
no subject
[ In between serving him delicious mouthfuls a drip spatters the front of his chest, sliding down the red emblem. ]
Ah, whoops ...
[ So, naturally, Loki licks it up in long stripes with an agile tongue, smiling up at him from the corner of her eye. ]
no subject
[ For once, Jay was glad he had been to tired this morning to hook up the taser into the body armor. Score one for laziness. He would have felt bad if he had shocked the hell out of Loki. Though, the thoughts were quickly forgotten as he watched that sinful tongue lick up the red symbol on his chest.]
Oh, look at that, I think you missed a little...
[ He couldn't help himself, or the longing in those blue eyes.]
no subject
[ A long-nailed finger dips in some plum sauce to drag across the front of his emblem, cleaned up in a few lasciviously long licks, and then it's the turn of Jason's lips as Loki paints the lower with her fingertip then chases the mess with an ardent kiss, moaning low in satisfaction to have him once again. ]

Loki scratches down Jason's armour to sneakily root out all the fastenings, deftly undoing them so he can at least feel her hands roaming underneath. ]
no subject
There was a tiny note of surprise feeling the fastenings come undone. He didn't expect them to be found so easily and yet he had no protest, in fact he sat up just a bit more to make the unlatching of the body armor easier. Moving his other arm from the back of the couch to move both down to trace Loki's hips. ]
no subject
Would you like me to cause some disturbances tomorrow in the jungle? I could give them a reason to send you out, make your day more interesting ...
[ And then pleasure him in a glade somewhere private, maybe. ]
no subject
Shifting his hips up just a bit before relaxing as if chasing more touch, but with the guns strapped to his thighs he wasn't in the biggest hurry. ]
That sounds like it could be a lot of fun. [ He spoke, his voice just a touch lower in octave. Idly wondering if it would rain.]
no subject
A minor explosion or two, hm? A repeat of tonight, so to speak.
[ Explosions to match however many times Loki can make him come before the night is out. ]
