Impulse speed will do, I think. It's not like I'm planning on going too far, nor do I think the shuttle would ever be capable of being in deep space for too long. Limited space, limited life support, limited energy source, so on.

[ The ship's appearance still needs a lot of work, but Jim's working on it from the inside out. The engines and various controls first, then the chassis and the bodywork. ]

Warp technology. Haven't seen any sign of that existing in this universe, sadly, or at least this corner of it. Even if I were to get my hands on a warp drive, I'm not even sure it would be compatible with this shuttle.
