Stars that stretched out far into the horizon, galaxies and planets, flickering colour lights both far and close enough to touch. In fact, Steve can touch it, even cup the darkness into his hands. Loki lets Steve step out into the vastness of space, every beautiful light within distance, to hold, to catch, to feel the light trickle down his shoulders like stardust. Then he steps out from behind him with a quiet murmur. ]
