( closed ) Boy, I hear you in my dreams.
who: Otabek Altin & Yuri Plisetsky
what: A first date.
when: August 27, after this
where: Around town.
warnings: If fluff needs to be warned for, then consider this a warning.
Otabek didn't get nervous about very many things. There was always a little bit of worry before he performed, whether it was as a DJ or on the rink. But what had really made him nervous was asking Yuri to be with him, and then planning the date. He had prepared himself about a month for this, too. After several months of friendship, he had realized that there was something different there from friendship. Otabek was one to work slowly, though, so it took him an entire month to work up the nerve to even ask this of Yuri, and he had spent some of the time scoping out good places to take someone on a first date.
His search history on his laptop would be rather embarrassing. Phrases such as "good first dates" had almost every top result selected and thoroughly read. How he found the time - it was a miracle. Even more miraculous that he didn't somehow get found out or caught.
Still, at the end of the day, he didn't want to make it anything too different from things that they typically enjoyed to do together. Maybe toss in a nice dinner, but beyond that, he was going to let things happen as they happened.
He did dress nice, though. Leather pants, a dress shirt in a deep shade of green, and his leather jacket. He retrieved his motorcycle from the garage about thirty minutes before he agreed to meet Yuri, and checked it out to make sure that everything was ready. He grabbed Yuri's helmet and placed it into storage, then put on his own and made his way to the apartment Yuri shared with Eddie and Cisco.
He parked it up front of the building, took off his helmet, and made his way to the apartment. He knocked, sucking in a breath and waiting.
He was nervous.
He shouldn't be, he already got the answer he had hoped for (despite thinking that it was most likely he wouldn't get a positive response at all).
But he was.
