[ Obi-Wan does because deep down, Obi-Wan is too soft-hearted. He's always willing to shelve his own discomfort and needs for anyone, stranger or friend. If anything, Obi-Wan has made it an unconscious habit never to address what he might need.
He's been disappointed before. ]
