Kate felt her smile growing at his description. "Yes. If you don't mind cartoons I could have drawn something." She was only teasing, with a bit of mischief sparking in her light green eyes. Kate was a good girl but that didn't mean she was no fun. At least not all the time.

Her situation was needlessly complicated when it came to her life in the city. To start, she had a life and Kate wasn't sure what to do with it. Getting a job was a start but there were other things too, people that she's met. "I started taking some classes and exploring the city but I don't know about interesting." Prior to arriving here she'd been fighting vampires, learning to be a thief and then shot. Comparatively the city felt boring and that feeling surprised Kate.
