A: Floor Six
Waking up was pretty odd, nor Alfred shuffling him out of bed to get ready for school. Even odder was the fact he was asleep on a chair, in strange clothes with a bowie knife sitting next to him.
What the hell? Pushing himself up he felt the aches and pains he was not used to.

"Shit, no wonder they say not to do that. " He grumbled as he walked around the room... was he in another boys home? What the fuck Bruce? Maybe he got mad that he had run away but shouldn't he remember being moved? Seeing what looked like a bathroom he walked in. It was seeing the face that greeted him that shocked him.

He looked so much like his dad, his hair was a little longer than he likes...and he had stubble peppering his jaw. "Holy...." his words cut off in his throat as he started feeling his face. "Oh man this is awesome!" He practically shrieked. And people said puberty sucked. Logically he knew it didn't really work that way, but it was easier to accept that he had just woke up a foot and some change taller, with a deeper voice and a damn nice body. Which he was now seeing as he tugged his shirt up over his stomach.

Jason was known for hogging the hot water and the shower, but this morning he was just marveling in the mirror.

A long while later once he was back by the bed he had been told was his he looked over the books. That seemed right but the clothes in the drawers looked big enough for this body. Which confused him but he shifted through each item looking until he found. Opting for a pair of loose jeans, a belt and a black t-shirt and red hoodie, the bowie knife he had woken up with carefully slipped between his belt and pants, just in case. After grabbing the wallet on the bed side table and slipped it in his jeans. If it was his bed clearly that must be his… even if it wasn't he was taking it.

B: Wandering Around
After a few hours of wandering around, Jason could be found at the mall. Sipping from a slushie as he walked around, it was weird having this kind of freedom again. Sure he had run away days ago, but once he returned to the manor he knew that it was back to staying around Bruce and Alfred if he wasn't at school. He thought about calling Dick, but he didn't have the sheet of paper, he had already tried to call Alfred and Bruce and neither worked, so clearly he wouldn't be able to reach Dick either… but he was excited. He had a trip planned for when he returned home. To go find his mother. Things were looking bright from here on out for Jason Todd.

He was nervous thinking about how he would hunt down the three women in his father's address book but he would worry about that once he found a way home. Surely this was something that would work itself out. So instead he decided to be a normal teenager and walk around the mall window shopping. He didn't have Bruce's gold card on him, but apparently he had money. He had looked at the ID inside the wallet and saw his name and an age that didn't make sense, having turned the card around so he didn’t have to see it he figured better to just pretend. After all he couldn't be like the guy he talked to when he first woke.

After awhile of wandering around he sat on a bench and just quietly watched people. Making up stories about each of them for his own amusement. He was bored but it was better than going back to where he had woke up just yet.

C: The Rooftops after dark
It hadn't taken him long to realize there was no way he could have his magic of being Robin, not properly. He didn't have his costume and he's certain he wouldn't be able to fit it even if he did. So instead he improvised. The jeans from earlier and some stuff from the trunk by his bed which had a red domino mask in it, and a red cloak. He found a green shirt to not be to far from himself as he put the mask, the spirit glue and the cloak into a bag he found and headed out through the window when he figured no one would notice. Moving down a few floors before he finally jumped. The landing was a little rougher than he was used to but that was okay.

He slipped into an alleyway putting on the mask and the cloak. The bag hidden away as he moved to scale another building. It was night and what else did he have to do until someone brought him home? There could be crime to fight! He moved quickly across rooftops, eventually getting bored and sitting with his legs danging over the edge as he watched the life of the city below him, and the stars above.

Maybe it wasn't so bad here.

D: August 16th - Floor Six
Jason had been in then kitchen for awhile. The smell of something sweet was floating through the air. He had chocolate cake batter on his cheek and was cleaning up the mess he had made making the cake that was cooling on the counter. Eventually the cake was finished and iced with green icing. He didn't bother putting happy birthday on it, since it was his own cake and his own birthday. A plate was pulled down as he cut a piece bigger than Alfred would ever approve, and piled on ice cream. Grabbing a soda out of the fridge he walked over sitting the plate down on the floor as he turned on the TV and loaded up the game system he had been using for days to kill time. Since he wasn't in school and wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do beyond that he spent part of the night patrolling. Wearing the clothes he had found in the trunk… besides the red bat symbol. After he shocked himself the first time he just wore a green shirt and jeans with the red domino mask and red cloak he had found. Still, he had to much time on his hands.

So he was playing a lot of video games.

Looking down at his cake while he wanted for the game to load he didn't realize his eyes were getting misty. In that moment he really missed Alfred and Bruce. He had been here for days, and he worried he might never get home. By now he knew Dick was here, and two others who were connected to Bruce. He had a lot of feelings that he wasn't sure how to process. He was missing pages, a lot of pages. He reached up furiously scrubbing at his face as the game's cinematic started. There was no time to be sad, Alfred wouldn't approve of him crying like this. He'd spent most of his life alone, and he had Dick here…. He wasn't alone despite how he felt.

Feeling another wave coming on he grabbed the plate and started to eat, trying to distract the overbearing feelings instead of him with the sugar.

"So, sort of." What the fuck. Ed's just going to have another moment of what kind of world do you live in, Jay? Give him a moment, especially considering there are probably some questions he knows can't be answered right now. He's having a hard time imagining an old guy scaring some hero vigilante or whatever Jason was describing. "We have a kind of broken justice system back home too, so I get that." A bit. "I guess crime's not so bad though."

After a pause, Ed grabbed Jay's hand to pull himself up. It was still weird to see him so different, but he was trying not to dwell on it while they talked. "Showering's not so bad, that's usually quick enough not to cause much of a problem." Edward offers another nod at the suggestion they look, following Jason since he seemed to have an idea of where they could find one better than Ed did. Which was ironic considering he was the one that remembered this place.

Ed blinked when Jason mentioned his real father. Something told him this version of Jay was a lot more open than the man he had come to know. "He must have really cared about you," He didn't look at him with those words. It might not be the easiest pill to swallow, and it was certainly hard to say from Ed's position. "Living a life of crime to make sure you were fed and had a roof over your head." It wasn't anything he could ever imagine, they'd never wanted for anything as kids.

"My world's not that interesting." That wasn't exactly true, but he didn't really want to get into it. "Our country's been at war longer than I can remember, we have a military government." No struggle to put food on the table, but he's not about to tell an age regressed Jay about chimera and homunculi, not this time.

"We never really went without money, I enlisted in the military pretty young, and that came with some perks. Shower's a necessity, guess I never really thought about it outside of that." No reason to. "When I was a kid my Teacher put me and my brother on an island for a month as part of our training. Showers were the least of our worries. Of course, I didn't have to worry about rusting back then, either."

Ed shrugged when Jay didn't find anything, "I'm sure we could find something else. Or, you know, let's skip it. I could make hot chocolate or something." Hot chocolate in August was odd by normal standards, but Edward Elric hardly lived by normal standards, especially after nearly dying in a blizzard during the last August he lived through.
