who: Ults!Tony, Thor and Bryn
what: Making good on the auction with a lovely evening out.
when: A few days after the masquerade
where: Starting at a fancy tapas bar, ending somewhere between a greasy food joint and someone's bed.
warnings: Fade to black for NSFW stuff but possibly suggestive talk.
It's definitely not the outcome Thor anticipated when he signed himself up for the auction, but it's not unwelcome. He's coming to understand that he was close to Tony in his iteration of their universe, and while the concept tickled him initially, he finds he truly enjoys the man's company.
Of course, it's no surprise at all that he enjoys Bryn's company. He's coming to know her better, understand her better and he's starting to want to spend time with her outside of a bed. It's a challenging situation for a man fresh out of an inter-dimensional relationship who isn't sure how permanent his time here is.
He's just trying to take all of these things as they come.
Since they're a package deal, Thor picks Bryn up and escorts her to the bar. He's dressed appropriately, although now that he's perusing the menu and watching the food come out he's not so sure it deserves such an elegant manner of dress.
They'll be waiting at their table for Tony, Thor is skimming the menu with furrowed brows.

There was a lot of things Tony was having to learn how to do himself now that he was no longer a billionaire, but keeping up appearances wasn't one of them. He walks in (fashionably late) and impeccably dressed in a fitted suit and hair carefully coiffed.
"Hello darlings, you haven't been having too much fun without me?"
Tony's about as sober as he'll ever get which is still enough for him to fail a breathalyser, but for him is a big move.

The opportunity to expand their duo to a trio had been something Bryn had jumped at, especially when it became apparent that the man who'd won the auction was something of a friend of Thor's. Such things were commonplace back home, and that neither Thor nor Tony had balked at the idea pleased her immensely.
Aiming to impress, Bryn dresses in clothing from home. The top she wears covers her from collarbone to waist, but for the gap down the center. The thick band of her pants hug her hips securely, but flow into wide-legged pants that make her feel comfortable sitting at the table beside Thor.
She looks at Tony as he approaches, expression clearly curious and gaze assessing.
"Not too much. It would be a shame to do more than warm up without everyone present," she replies easily, then offers her hand. "Nice to meet you in person at last, Tony." Seeing as she hadn't had a chance to speak with him during the masquerade.

He'll sit back to let Bryn and Tony have their introduction, then he'll chime in. "I'm surprised you haven't met before, we travel in similar circles." It all seems to intermingle here, though it's probably overwhelming with the vast amount of festivals that occur.
"So, shall we start with drinks or am I already being over-eager?" He's waving someone down to take orders anyway.

"The pleasure is all mine, it should be criminal that Thor took this long to introduce us."
He takes a seat and makes minor adjustments to keep the lines of his suit crisp. While Thor asks a question and then fails to wait for a response Tony picks up the drinks menu. Although this place was upscale, he'd have to actually look at the menu to choose something.

Bryn has no complaints. For all that this sort of thing may be normal back home, she herself hasn't been dating around much back home or even here in Riverview. Not until Thor's arrival anyway. The more time they spend together the more she's realized how much of her social life has been neglected. Tonight is one step toward correcting that.
"Can I assume neither of you are opposed to sharing appetizers and all of that?" she asks, eyebrow lifted, as if her question couldn't have another meaning.

"You both demand a lot of time and attention. How could I possibly have you overlap?" He asks them both, with a raised brow. His hand lowers to touch Bryn's thigh, and he smiles knowingly at her. "If I were opposed to sharing, I'd not be here."

"I can be terribly greedy, but no qualms here either."
He notices where Thor's hand disappears to under the table and wholeheartedly approves, but mourns that he's chosen to attempt to play the gentleman tonight.
He gestures at the waiter to bend down for his own drinks order. Tony's gone with a wine choosing something a little more sophisticated than a large mug of something. He also has to drink in moderation if they all want their happy ending.

"You're greedy and he has an appetite so we'll just have to order enough for all three of us..." she replies, letting her own hand rest on Thor's briefly before she starts poking various parts of the menu with her other finger. Leaning over toward Tony, she directs most of her comments to him. "I'm thinking one of these and one of these for sure, especially with that garnish, and then maybe this thing with the plum?"
Do they use plums it tapas traditionally? Blight if Bryn knows. This cuisine doesn't exist in her world, it just sounds delicious okay? Glancing up to the waiter she tells him to surprise her with something off the drink menu, then turns back to the two men at her table with an easy smile.
"So, I imagine the obvious question here is how do you two know each other or how did you meet and all of that?"

"I'll be satisfied if it has meat in it." He says, resigning himself to let the others decide their course for the evening. He's sure there's not much he'll turn his nose up at, he's broadened his horizons considerably over the years.
"Well, technically we originate from different universes, but we know different versions of one another." He pauses to smile, sly and fully aware of how strange the situation is. "Granted, I like the version from my universe considerably less than this one." He points at him, like he doesn't know he's being spoken about. "We're also roommates."

And alright, Thor's off-handed comment makes him feel all warm and fuzzy and he realises that's what happiness feels like. It's an unfamiliar feeling and it's a good reminder of why he needs to keep going.
"Unfortunately I can't say the same. He's far too likeable in any universe. Some people have all the luck it seems."
no subject
"Any interesting differences from the men you both know back home? Or your worlds in general?" she asks, looking between them. They may be on a three-way date, but to Bryn that just means she needs to work twice as hard to learn about both of them. With Thor, it's easy to get lost in the physicality of things, they both know they have a great deal of chemistry there.
Tony's presence makes it easier for Bryn to hold off and spend time getting better acquainted with them both.

"I might be universally excellent, but your opinion is not universally shared I'm sure." Loki would have a thing or two to say about it, no doubt about it. Not that it matters what he says, because he has two exceedingly good people here who like him very much. That's good enough for him.
"He'd know the differences better than I, but thus far the Stark from my universe and I have had... difficulties seeing eye to eye." That's one way to put it. "I've found this Tony to be more agreeable."
