1. RESCUES IN THE ACIDIC RAIN.

[ Whenever Loki ventures out into the foul weather he conjures a green magical shield, the same he last used when Leah's construct was attempting to sever his head in Mother's dimension. Droplets that spatter all over it flash a pale lime-gold so that it appears he may be walking around in a glittery bubble, but the fact remains he only dons the protective enchantment to get from Point A to Point B; reaching outside of it is an unpleasant experience even for him.

That's how it starts, anyway.

He eventually finds himself an inadvertent taxi service for anyone caught in the downpour. Whether it's a person hunched down against an abandoned vendor's cart, someone shrieking in a panic as their tenth umbrella of the day turns to tatters, or reluctantly agreeing to ferry food from one household to another (no good deed is too menial for him this week) the God of Mischief is obliging to those in need.

But he doesn't decline any rewards for services rendered, either. ]

2. FIREFLY AT 2AM.

[ The magical shield also happens to glow in the dark, making it a point of interest for anyone with eyes who happens to spot Loki moving around the Quarantine like a mobile nightlight, along the streets and up the glassy walls of skyscrapers. Green orbs swish overhead and light his way as though streetlamps are bobbing along at his request.

If anyone wants one, they are free to shout him over from their hidey-hole. There's not much else to see out there that wanders around so casually in a corrosive downpour, let your curiosity take over. ]

3. A REAL BOAR OF A TIME.

[ With his spellcraft invulnerable to something as ordinarily challenging as acid rain for everyone else, one way or another word gets out about what Loki can do and he feels compelled to help some of the teams ranging out into the jungle intent on setting up their scientific dohickies. The most important turn of events, he feels, is that with his full-body bubbleshield there is no need for a fugly bodysuit, while on the flipside his permanent shimmer in the drab conditions mean that Loki is often requested to head up the front of a party.

When boars attack, the green glow of his shield is joined by the crimson glimmer of his ancestral blade Laevateinn, slashing down their beastly opponents in two or three nimble strikes. Curious why it doesn't take much more effort than that? Loki himself will shrug and tell you, ]

The blade cuts through any hide.

[ It can be intensely handy sometimes when people can bear to have such a dangerous thing around, much like Loki himself. Additionally, he provides marshmallows for those hard at work in the jungle. ]

4. DRAINED.

[ A near daily, constant use of sorcery has Loki on edge during rare moments, rubbing his head as he takes refuge in shops and under eaves of buildings when his headache worsens. He can be found with his feet up on overcast veranda benches, taking a break from supporting his own shield and the magical orbs loaned out across the city, tired-eyed and usually nibbling at a snack for an energy boost. Not that he needs to eat anything, it's more a comfort thing. Mental rousing.

Anyone who spots him will find he doesn't leave in a hurry when approached and those who depend on his magical orbs are free to call him up and find out why their rooms have suddenly gone dark. ]

I have a feeling I'm in for one hell of a show.

[ Jason replied wigh a laughs, amused by it all. What was his life? Granted this was the most fun he'd had in weeks. He didn't have a chance to react to the little cheek kiss before he saw Loki dash off.

He stood back watching, taking note mentally to keep on Loki's good side. His face lit up as he made his way inside. It was a biker's paradice.]

That reminds me, you have to introduce me to your friend Stark one day.

[ He moved out. Inside looking over the clothes and designs. Pulling a redish jacket off the rack and pulling it on stretching his arms out and up to feel how it moved with him. ]

You like?

Which Stark? Mine or the other two? Mine's neurotic, one is alcoholic, and the other is ... short. [ TRUTH. He doesn't actually know much about the shorty, tbh.

Loki nods at Jason's selection, tapping his chin thoughtfully. ]

Without the red helmet, yes, otherwise you might start looking like a walking traffic cone.

I'll say yours, I'm sure whichever one you claim as your own must be the best. I just need some technical support I'm told Starks are the way to go.

[ Jason turned to face Loki and then rolled his eyes. ]

I would not, I would be the hottest traffic cone around.

[ He kept the jacket on and moved to look around more.]

Still a traffic cone, though.

[ Loki shrugs out of his own coat, tossing it over a mannequin as he browses some much shorter, cropped jackets. Brown, black, green ... the latter he tries on in front of a mirror. ]

What do you think, does it bring out my eyes? [ He presses the back of a hand to his forehead, pretending to swoon. ] Tell me I'm a stunner.

Traffic cones are orange, smart-ass.

[ Jay moves back around, a few things draped over his shoulders as he leaned in close to look in Loki's eyes the look him over.]

Oh yeah, it sure does, makes those eyes pop. Your getting that one.

[ A fingertip boops Jason on the nose before he can move away, flattered glee in Loki's fond gaze. Keeping the jacket then, yes. ]

If you insist.

[ Also, he's going to turn any and all traffic cones red for the foreseeable future as soon as they part ways tonight. That is totally on Jason. ]

You mentioned something about leather pants, don't disappoint me now.

[ Jason crinkled his nose at the boop but said nothing. Just a playful look returned. Stepping back Jay unzipped his boots tugging them off, along with his belt. Both left on theach counter. The boots were custom to hold the All blades so they had pockets built in the sides.

He moved to start flipping through racks looking at sizes because he wasn't going to squeeze into something small.

Pictures of those cones would be texted to Loki if he sees them.]

Oh, I never disappoint. Good things come to those who wait, and all.

[ If Jason doesn't mind, Loki is going to inspect those knives while he dithers on which pants to try. Daggers are something of the godling's favourites. ]

Where did you get these blades from, Jay?

[ They were magical blades, but they didn't do a lot without Jason's blood. When Loki spoke he looked up, tossing a pair of pants over the rack as he startedid to switch pants with no shame. Of course he had on red boxers. ]

From a crazy old witch. Their kind of a graduation gift. I wouldn't touch them if I were you. That's not a threat, just a heads up.

[ The pants of choice were tight and an oily shade of Black with lacing up the side.]

[ ... So much red, he's as bad as Tony. Loki must take mental notes. ]

I won't. [ But he'll peer at them with interest nonetheless before Jason's thighs inevitably steal his attention. Loki leans back on the counter, shamelessly staring. ] Are you going for 'slutty dark medieval knight' with those? I'm not complaining.

[ What better color for blood to blend with? And Dick already grabbed up blue so red it was.

Jason looked up with a playful smirk once he got them zipped up, those thick thighs sometimes made it hard to get pants that fit good. He hated it but he knew a lot of people liked it. He lifted a hand, beckoning Loki to him in a sultry way.]

I was thinking dark and powerful but I guess that works. So these are a yes?

Hmm ..

[ Pushing off the counter, Loki strolls over to Jason and runs his hands up his legs from knee to thigh until he stands before him, clutching leatherclad hips. ]

Seems to be a comfy fit and you got them on fast enough that getting them off wouldn't be an issue. I approve!

[ Jason moved one of his hands up to brush a bit of Loki's bangs from his face. He leaned in closer his eyes lidded a bit at the feel of Loki's hands.]

Getting out of clothes is never the problem. If you approve them I'll keep them and you cns peel them off me one night.

Well, see, now they're obviously making the grade ...

[ As is Jason with that gentle touch that has Loki leaning in, offering over a kiss. ]

[ Jay doesn't respond in words, as Loki leaned in, Jason met him halfway, the fingers that had been pushing his bangs from his face moved to rest at the back of the others head. Their lips pressed together as Jason kissed him in almost a hungry desperate way. ]

[ A soft noise of surprise meets the ardent kiss. Loki runs his hands up Jason's sides, soothing that urgency to try and even out the hunger and reassure him that he isn't going anywhere in a hurry.

Jason is hot-wet-tasty and Loki shivers, giving him full access to a deep kiss even as the godling tries to control it. ]

[ The noise of surprise brought an almost amused noise from Jason as he kept himseld locked in place. The reassuring hands did slow him down, let the kiss grow slower and deeper.

A chance to taste a god? What semi-sane person would turn that down? Jason wanted it all greedily exploring the others mouth as if he's forgotten he needs to breath. ]

[ Ozone, pine, clean like the thin scent of peppermint throughout the senses, that's what Loki tastes like; the fresh air of Asgard, a cool mouth warming up under the comparatively wild heat of Jason's.

Pawing that firm body more confidently, nimble fingers wind their way to the fastenings of those fancy new pants to peel them open and he lets the weight of his palm press over the open maw of a zipper, a request to go further if Jason wants it. ]

[ Jason tasted of different things, coffee, spices, the lingering menthol taste of a bummed cigarette earlier in the day. He smelled like the closest thing to classic old spice this world had to offer. The stark contrast of tastes and smells had his senses aflame. Burning bright. It had been a long time for him, a few months. So he was eager to taste this fun need companion.

Jason pulled back enough for a breath, before leaning in again a breath away.]

Take what you want, I'll gladly give it all. [ his voice deeper, hazed with lust and need.]

[ Life is what Loki tastes on Jason and he loves it, his own hunger growing as those words are purred between their lips and inspire a sharklike grin of delight.

[ With a glance around the shop he nods to a leathery couch, ostensibly made for trying on the expensive footwear. Loki trails one last touch up Jason's cock before he slides his hand free and catches him by the hips again, intending to lead him. ]

For now, you take a seat and let me narrow down that timeline for you.

[ Jason nodded, his mind not willing him to have much more complex thoughts beyond that, not with Loki's fingers trailing that last touch.

He had let his Guard down for the time being, trusting Loki to lead him to that leather couch, a good thing abouto leather pants and those thighs, they didn't fall much at all as they moved. His blue eyes locked on Loki like the lifeline he was for now.]

[ It's the name that shutters the desire in his eyes, green widening as he hears Lokes and freezes, hands still on Jason's hips.
