who: Catch-all post for Edward Elric
(Alphonse Elric, Jacob Kane, Frankenstein, Tony Stark (MCU) - will add if/as needed)
what: varies - catching up, explanations, and new meetings.
when: Sometime after the exploratory mission debriefing on floor six / the next day / 7/23
where: Mostly the beach for Al / Floor six for Cain and Tony / Coffeeshop for Al and Frankenstein
warnings: Discussion of rather graphic death, potential for details. If you're FMA '03 familiar, think Nina. Cain's log will also be about death!
Appropriate tags will have warnings in the subject line, should this come up.

i did not get a notif for this wtf dw
One thing was for sure. It was far different from automail. Al didn't recognize the wiring and he had watched many times as Winry worked on Ed's automail or reattached it. It always seemed like a painful experience for Ed, and Al couldn't help wondering if it was painful for the stranger.
"This is a little more advanced than Brother's automail," Al quickly explained. "We might not be able to fix all of it, but we might be able to adjust a few parts so it works better. Brother? What do you think?"
no subject
He glanced at his brother curiously, cautious as he continued. "What about a mechanic? Al found one on the network, I haven't spoken to him yet, but- he might be able to fix this better than us. We could give you his info, if you want."
notifs hate me. :(
It's clear he's not happy with their response. Frankenstein's 'not happy' probably looks a lot like most people's 'pissed right off', but he manages--eventually--to beat the scowl on his face into submission.
"How do you know you can trust him?" Trust issues are important, man.
same same tbh
"Should we tell him, Brother?" he asks Ed, eyes shifting from the stranger's arm to his brother's. As usual, he can see the sliver of metal that gleams from between the cuff of Ed's jacket and his glove. It wouldn't be noticeable if one didn't know what to look for, but Al did. "About..." And he nods towards Ed's hand.

"We don't." That was pretty straight forward, he wasn't going to lie about it. "What we do know is that there's somebody here who can probably fix my arm if anything happens to it and sometimes the benefits outweigh the risks." Not the answer this guy is looking for, he's sure.
"I'm not saying run around telling complete strangers about your situation, I sure as hell wouldn't want to do that either. If we give you his information the ball's in your court, whether or not you want to contact him. Look into it, see what he's about, maybe ask some questions without giving too much personal information to start." He knows paranoid when he sees it.
"I've already contacted him and we're planning to meet to go over things..." After a pause he tugged his glove off, so Frankenstein could actually see the automail and know they were being completely honest with him. "It's not as advanced as your's and I still can't do the repairs on my own, if you want that hand fixed you need someone reliable and knowledgeable. An actual mechanic."
no subject
Still, that show of the other guy's hand--what did they call it? Automail? is something else. Though, not in bad shape, like his was. "How'd you get yours?"
no subject
So he glances at Ed, mercury-colored eyes wide to indicate without words that he's okay if Ed does decide to explain. But also that he's alright with Ed choosing not to.
no subject
He'd given this explanation so many times it was auto-pilot at this point, and if he found it odd to speak of Alphonse as if he wasn't sitting right there beside him he didn't show any indication. "I lost my arm trying to save my brother's life." He didn't mention the rest, normally he'd add more but he had the feeling that mentioning he was the one who nearly got him killed in the first place would only spark an argument from his sibling. They didn't need to do that here in front of this guy.
"What about you?"
