[He doesn't have to be asked twice to leave the comfort of his own housing block. While normally he'd be very comfortable to stay inside for weeks on end...

The promise of being shown some sort of supernatural way of feeling something other than absolutely nothing has him moving. A quick reply on the communicator that he'd be there, and he's already running down the stairs like some rabbit being chased by a hawk.

Lucky he's pretty hard to miss wearing an outfit like that, too--Khisanth won't have to spend long figuring out which person he is, idling where she asked to meet him.]

Of course not.

[ That sort of thing is for lesser mages. She holds out her hand, palm up, like she's expecting to be given something. But instead, a tiny flame leaps to life in the center of her hand, wavering slightly with the air currents. She keeps her eyes on Noiz's face. ]

We'll start small. Can you feel the pain of a burn?

[He gives her a look--the expression is something like curiosity, but it's the leaping flame that has his attention. He's seen that sort of thing in TV shows and videogames, but to see it working in the real world...

It makes his pulse pick up pace before he flicks his eyes up to look at her.]

I've spilled things like hot drinks on my hands before, and it just makes my skin red.

[He lifts his hands--where he'd ordinarily be wearing bandages to cover the scars--he doesn't really bother, today. His hands are a scratched up mess of different scars and even what looks like burns left behind by aforementioned hot drinks. There's also two piercings on each hand, but that's a different story.]
