[closed] I took a chance to build a world of mine
who: Terra (
earthy), Yuuto Kurohane (
maskerading)
what: Roommates meeting and going out into the jungle to poke at monsters, as you do
when: June 17th or thereabouts
where: Communal housing (floor 10) + jungle
warnings: TBA, maybe some monster-related violence
[Terra doesn't just hang out around the apartment very often. Even a month ago, when things were a little less complicated and he was a little more comfortable, he wasn't one to lounge in front of the entertainment system or, you know, lie on his assigned bed and skim through the contents of his phone. (He has yet to even discover what all is on the strange communication device. What do you mean there's more to the network than just talking to other displaced people?)
Today, however, is one of those rare days he's off both his jobs and, after a lengthy training session in the early morning hours, he's spending some quality time out on floor ten's balcony.
He stands over a small table, a roll of paper spread out in front of him. One hand absently digs into a bag of salted cashews that's helping hold the paper down.
There's probably no mistaking the paper for anything other than a map, but it's rudimentary in its design, made up of a whole lot of scribbled notes and symbols and stick figure creatures. The crude monster drawings are circled in different colors, some red or black, others orange or blue or green. One monster isn't circled at all and it's that mark on the paper that has Terra's attention.
He pops a few cashews into his mouth and shifts his weight from one foot to the other, too deep in thought to notice if any roommates are around.]
