Open;
who: samurai jack and anyone
what: adjusting to New Place and Things
when: first few days after arriving
where: anywhere
warnings: n/a
A. Fourth Floor Kitchen
[Some might expect to be given housing after coming through the portal and going through orientation. Jack, on the other hand, is still uncertain that he's acquired an apartment for the rest of his stay. It's weird to suddenly have this? So he resorts to the best thing to clear one's mind.
Tea.
The stove fire's alight underneath a pot of water. Sitting and meditating on the tile floor doesn't feel out of place for one of the new residents. Yes, the straw hat next to him has a small black hole on the front.]
B. Perimeter Guard
[Employment is...odd. Without any way to actively pursue a way back, Jack's becoming familiar with the Perimeter Guard faculties. The barracks only have a straw hat on a bed as his claim, though he does try to check to see if it's taken ahead of time.
Jack can be found anywhere since he's thorough. The training grounds are getting a good use and he'll be replacing some of those practice dummies. Arrows, throwing weapons, you name it and he's trying them out.
Except firearms, those stay untouched.]
C. Entertainment/Shopping
[There's so much to buy, look at, watch, and eat! Well, for everyone else.
Jack looks quite out of place and not only because of his garb. His interest is far away from the flashing advertisements and loud sales people outside some of the shops. The flowers and plants are getting inspections and testing sniffs from him.
A few leaves and petals get plucked and some plants are even pulled out to expose the roots.]
D. Wildcard
(ooc: Make your own! Jack's literally going to be anywhere on the moon, no matter how safe or dangerous.)

To her, she tries to slowly approaches him just to see what he is doing out of curiosity. But for him, he might see that she's about to make an ambush.]

Oh yeah. That's got his attention.
His hat draws back when he straightens his posture and he unblinkingly stares at the curious monster. A slowpoke might be jealous at the pace his hand releases a white flower in favor of reaching for the sheathe on his hip.]

However, Professor Sycamore notices what is about to happen and quickly rushes in to defend his Mach Pokemon.]
No, wait! She's not one of the monsters!
[Unfortunately for him, his newfound powers somehow have a bad sense of timing as any nearby objects such as pots, watering can, and other things you find at the flower shop starts to levitate. Not only that, they are somehow targeting the samurai as they are about throw themselves.]
no subject
When is a monster not a monster?]
What...?
[Surprise! That action doesn't come from the creature at all.
The quick question is all that gets snatched out of his mouth before a flash of reflective light reveals his katana in answer to suddenly floating objects. His blade wok will prove to be just as fast if they come his way.]

If Jack manages to block them, he may see more of them coming in their way. Thankfully, Sycamore quickly notices what was happening and quickly stops the rest of the objects in mid-flight before he lets them fall down to the ground.
However, he did earn him a face palm on his own face, realizing the chaos he unknowingly unleashed on.]
Mon Dieu... I did it again...
[That's all he can say before he is hit by a short headache, which his Garchomp quickly rushes to his side so she can help him.]
no subject
But no, it passes and he quickly falls into a matching pace with the monster's swipes until...crisis averted?]
You caused this?
[Oh. Well. That question can wait. Jack swiftly sheathes his sword and precariously approaches the duo.]
Are you alright?
[The question's to both, his glance at the littered floor goes from creature to human. Jack's affinity for animals is present when he doesn't feel like they might be threatening him.]
no subject
I'm alright. But as for the chaos you've experienced, I'm afraid to say that I'm responsible for all of this.
C.
Um... what are you doing?
[Is there something wrong with them??]
no subject
I cannot make anymore tea.
[He brings up his other hand to cradle the uprooted flower to help his explanation. Somehow.
Probably not.]
This place has many ingredients. I thought to replenish my stock.
