[It's a strange afternoon when your cleaning service has obtained your number to text you. Is it a call to cancel? Discontinue service? Reschedule? Finally proclaim Noctis' garbage is just too high for your paid grade? No. A casual text from a dude whose ID is stupeo.]

Hello, Eichi, this is Ignis Scientia. I'm going to ask a small favor of you: I've only just realized I need to give gifts to a young girl more around your age, and I'm not familiar with any of the stores here, or... what to get at all. I would appreciate it if you could accompany me in shopping for her if you aren't busy.

[He sends this text, as if he isn't just a wall doing his hair up to leave. Ridiculous.]

[Wha... This is a little odd, especially after Gladio basically revealing that he knows Noct somehow. But maybe this guy is just really desperate and knows no one because he spends too long cleaning up Noct's garbage?]

What a surprise, Scientia-kun. ♪ I wouldn't mind at all. I'm beginning to feel that some fresh air would do me some good, so it would be nice to go out and visit some stores. Are you heading out now?

Yes. I'm afraid I don't know my way around the city too well, so I'll be relying on you to find an appropriate location.

[Ignis sets his phone down to return to continue shaping his hair... and realized he would be stepping outside the apartment same time as Eichi if he kept this up. It'd be fine if he weren't in a bet with Noctis over how long this would last, so he's grabbing all his things and rushing out the door at a ridiculous pace. His hair is a little lopsided.]

I've actually already headed out, I'll be on the first floor of the complex.

[Eichi sends back his agreement, though he could swear he hears someone stepping out of the room next door. Oh well. He has to spend a few minutes putting on something suitable, and then he heads down to meet him.

On the first floor, Eichi lifts his hand in greeting once he spots him. That hair...]

Scientia-kun, hello. Fufu, you look as though you're actually very troubled by this. To reach out to me for help is flattering, so I won't let you down.

[He has the perfect stores in mind already.]

[Ignis is in the process of trying and failing to fix his hair, thanks!! Most of it stands for the most part, but there's still strands drooping over his forehead and it's all very sad compared to Eichi serving looks.]

... Thank you, Eichi. [He hesitates, because does he really look that bad?? But it's fine, he'll still have enough good manners to hold the door open for him as they exit.] I did not realize this girl would think of me during this holiday, so I owe you a great deal. Have you received any gifts?

Yes, actually. I've received so many that it's genuinely surprising. Perhaps there are some good deals? Ah, or it's just that this month is much more welcoming than the celebration the month before. I prefer it, as well.

[He heads for the door as soon as Ignis seems he's ready to.] What's her name?

Or perhaps your items were much cheaper than you imagined in the first place. [This was meant to be factual, not rude, but Ignis is just like that. More awkward than he thinks, continuously adjusting his hair and gazing down the street.] Her name is Iris. I believe she's around fifteen.

[Hmmm...] Should I have called us a cab? I wouldn't want you to walk further than you're able.

Fufu, if it's for Iris-chan, then it won't be a problem at all. We happen to be friends.

[Yep!! Oh, but that's a good question, and Eichi glances out at the street.] I'm feeling just fine right now, so walking a small distance won't be an issue. If the shops were any further, I'd have to take you up on your offer, but just please don't leave me if I collapse, okay?

[Oh, he knows Iris, that makes things so much easier-- But Eichi, that's a little startling to say?? Ignis blinks, looking from the street to Eichi with a look of mild disbelief.] I would hardly let you collapse at all, Eichi.

[He is like... going to stand closer to him before they start their walk, what the hell?] I will call us a cab for our return. If you're feeling faint at all, you'll let me know. If you please.

Have I worried you?

[Eichi can't help but chuckle at that. The moving closer, the cab for their return... He's fine right now, but it's pretty cute.] I see, you're the type of person who has a motherly air about them, aren't you? I'm envious. Even Noct-kun relaxes considerably around you.

I'm very used to this condition, so please try not to worry too much. I'll let you know right away if I can feel it worsening. For now, though, aren't we on a mission? I know the perfect chain of stores we can move along to shop for Iris-chan.
