Keith wasn't usually one to celebrate his birthday on his own, and, well, with recent updates from the canisters, he didn't expect Shiro to throw a party again like last year. So, he'd just gone about it like it was a normal day.

Until he got home and found that Lola had put together a small shindig at the house for him. It was nice. She had kept it small on purpose because of how rough things had been since they'd opened the canisters not that long ago, and he appreciated the thought.

And, of course, after the small party, Keith had once again found Lola waiting in his room. He still had to figure out how she'd gotten so good at sneaking away to change her outfit and settle in on his bed to wait for him. Not that it bothered him, because it didn't. He was mostly just curious.

For the rest of the month, though, Keith could be found doing his usual thing. Patrols with the Perimeter guard, working out and training at the gym, helping with whatever he could with Lola's cantina, and even attempting to get things started up again with the martial arts and self-defense classes, also at the gym, since having them at the house wasn't easy at the moment.

During one of his outings for patrol, he found a certain oddly colored wolf.
