who: Alex Reagan and you.
what: Playing hooky on her birthday
when: October 23rd!
where: All over Riverview.
warnings: None!
Notes: Pick a place and Alex can be there (other than outside in the forest or at work. Will match prose and tense!)
Given the way that Thanksgiving had turned into a giant clusterfuck, Alex had made up her mind earlier in the month not to do anything for her birthday. It was only 34 after all, and it wasn’t like it called for a giant party. It especially didn’t call for a giant party when one’s boyfriend was bound and determined to make himself one of the more hated people in the Quarantine. So she wasn’t expecting much if anything.
Of course that didn’t mean that Alex wasn’t going to take the day off of work because honestly screw working on your birthday. Over the last three years she had practically worked double time on her birthday because like every scary thing the show always seemed to get the most busy in October. While things were getting spooky around her birthday (because of course they were given how close it came to Halloween) it wasn’t something that Alex directly had any cause over. So she could sleep late and have breakfast in bed before she went wandering around.
Despite getting a fancy new espresso machine, Alex still visited her favorite coffee shop, getting her normal coffee and pastry. She was also doing shopping in the market and especially the book shop. Anywhere that ghosts seemed to congregate was ignored and thankfully Keith seemed to be giving her a break for the moment.

Birthday parties were not so large events back home, atleast, not in the obligatory sort. Small gifts were given however, and after some searching, Elizabeth found what she thought was the perfect gift. Considering the amount of punishment she put the woman through on a weekly basis, a gift certificate to the spa would be just the thing for her..
Buying was simple enough, searching for the woman only marginally more difficult. She at first checked her quarters-not there. Nor was she at her work place; it was only by chance she passed by the bookshop and found her seated there.
She strolled on inside and walked towards where she was seated. Once she was a few feet away, Elizabeth pulled out a black and orange envelope and held it out infront of her. "I was informed it was someone's birthday?"
The grin and tone clearly showed she wasn't entirely questioning it.
