- [For as much as Eichi wanted to continue his life like normal, singing and performing and growing just like that, he knew that things would never be the same here as they were back home. There was too much that was different here, and rather than sit in his apartment and let everyone else do everything, he wanted to be able to go out and see things for himself. He wanted to know what was going on.
That's why he'd agreed to training in the first place, and that had only led to embarrassment and hospitalization. His body wasn't made for this. So how was he supposed to do anything? That shame led him to the river now, to a quiet spot where he thinks no one would bother coming. Swiping at air only makes him tired, and so he's carved out a little target in a tree and is taking his time throwing his daggers at it.
Surprisingly, a fair amount of them do hit their mark, but they slide uselessly against the tree rather than sticking in like he was hoping. He's so lost in this, and he's not made for fighting at all, so if anyone comes to close, they might find a dagger flying past them and towards his marked tree before he calls out in surprised worry. Either that, or he's busy picking up the few of them from the tree and footsteps make him fumble and knick his own finger.]

- [Eichi is a performer at 4 different night clubs, and also frequently tries to get out and do anything he can, so he can be found just about anywhere! Feel free to make up any scenario with running into him at his work or on the street, or message me at

- [Finally, they were able to get out and do something. There had been the show the night before, and Eichi was certainly excited to see his friend there and supporting him, but this was entirely different. He could relax and do something he wasn't used to himself. This was the sort of fun he enjoyed, casually looking through shops and recommending things for each other, and experiencing this sort of "normal" life.
It's why he's so pleased when he pushes a whole formed outfit at Líadan, gesturing towards the dressing rooms with his free hand.]
We'll take turns, just like this, okay? Try these on, since this sort of thing seems like it would suit Líadan-chan completely.

- [That festival was still going on. Eichi had gone to it already, seen all there was to see, and now he didn't even want to go out for very long, worried that the lanterns would remind him of how separated he was from everyone else. Things were entirely different, and as casual as he wanted to be about death, he was still worried about his own.
These thoughts have him pacing his room a couple of times before he settles to lean against the wall shared with Gladio, considering for a moment. His neighbor was home enough during this hour, for one reason or another. Eichi wasn't actually sure— had he gone to that festival at all? Maybe he shouldn't bother him. Maybe he should stay on his own and find something to do...
But he really can't stand that thought, right now, so instead, he knocks a few times against the wall his back is leaning against, waiting for a reply.]

I did it, yay! [Real words he just said. Now that Noct is watching what he's doing, he can pause to point at certain parts of the screen and ask what they do between all of this questing.
He's still a lot quieter than Noct, but his exclaimed yay is enough that he could be called out on this.] How did you get this? Can I get it, as well?
no subject
It's from the app store, but I dunno if they have it here. [It still works? Maybe there's a generic knockoff called King's Fight, or something.]
But I'm gonna need to hear an apology, now that you're yelling about drops, too. Come on, pay up.
no subject
[He didn't say you could change the little fighter's armor! Or any important details like that! His eyes are bright and he looks so proud of himself, saying this, and barely holding back a laugh as he taps at the screen some more. He's still playing!]
no subject
"Noct, sorry that I gave you such a hard time and said your game was dull"... I'll wait.
no subject
[Unfair?? Eichi stares after the phone, his hand handing uselessly in the air halfway to reaching towards it as he gives him a look. What the heck. No one guilt trips Eichi Tenshouin? He's so amazed he doesn't know how to handle it.]
I'm sorry you described your game so poorly that I thought it was dull. [Good enough, right?? He's reaching for that phone...]
no subject
Sounds like somebody doesn't want to play any King's Knight. Guess I'll have to play by myself...
no subject
Ah, you're so... [What word can even describe his frustration here and still be polite? He trails off, instead, settling back down even if he is still leaning a little at Noct.]
... I'm sorry that I criticized the game. Is that enough for you?
no subject
Close enough. Try not to use too many of my potions.
no subject
I won't allow myself to require the aid of potions more than three times. They're a sign of weakness, after all, and a Knight should be capable enough to not rely on those. [Now he's getting in character, watch out. But oh, before he starts, he reaches into his own pocket to pass his own phone at Noct.]
You could search the app store to see if it's available. [Look it up for him so he can play the game, obviously.]
no subject
Sure, good luck with that. You're lucky I'm already level 80.
[He'll look for mobile games, though... who knows if there are any, how does interdimensional internet work??]
no subject
[He's getting sucked in. So, while he plays this game, he leaves Noct to the task of navigating his own phone. The writing is probably in Japanese in some places, but thankfully there's plenty of English to navigate, too. But before he can get to the app store, a little ribbon pops up notifying that Eichi has a new like on a video he posted.
Those notifs are easy to press when you're trying to do other things, so regardless of Noct's intentions, he's probably led to a page of the weird video Eichi took. It's him and Yuuri running from a rather animated sword that flies up and soars at them a couple of times before it just shuts off. This is the weirdest video he has so far but more are likely to come, with what he's been up to.]
I did it! [He beat some more enemies, and he's so proud of himself.] Even if someone like me is more suited to stay behind and give orders, it seems I can experience the front lines like this, as well. No enemies will stand in my way for long. ☆
no subject
And then comes this... video? What is this? Eichi is talking about King's Knight still, but hang on-]
You got chased by a sword? Like, in real life?
no subject
[He's still playing this game, so he doesn't actually look away, but his voice says he's interested despite this.] I was helping a friend of mine search for a weapon, and this one kept moving. Just as I was going to capture a video of it blinking, it flew at us like this!
It messed up the store so much that we were made to come back for clean up and to make up for damages. Have you seen anything like that before?
no subject
Nope. Sounds like you're just unlucky again. You should leave weapon shopping to people who know what they're doing.
[Just saying, little tea boy. In other news, how the fuck does he use this phone. He's going to wind up liking Eichi's video as Eichi before he manages to close the video, that's what's happening. Oh well.]
no subject
If that were true, no one would pick up a weapon and no one would know what they were doing. [Everyone starts somewhere!! Shut up...] Stop calling it unlucky as if it has anything to due with fake, unknown forces like that.
no subject
Alright, whatever. [He still thinks it's dumb... but then, he even knows how to fight and could still do without it.] What's actually unlucky is me trying to read anything on your phone.
[beep boop what's he doin]
no subject
It's just a cuter icon.]
This one here. An English keyboard should appear if you tap... ah, here. [He'll just press it for him. But unfortunately, there's no King's Knight to be found on the app store. There's only King's Fight, some rip off version...]
no subject
I can't read half of your phone's directions, give me a break.
[But fine, he'll beep boop through the app store until he finds King's Fight, which judging by the screenshots is... okay. It's fair. The good people of Riverview seem to have rated it a good enough 6/10, although Noctis is scrolling through the screenshots with a judgmental eye before he taps to download it.]
I found something—it's not the same, but it'll have to do. [Here, take a look.]
no subject
[It's not the same? Hold on, he has to stop playing for this, pausing somewhere safe and leaning over more to see it downloading. What is this... a commoner's version?] But if it's not the same, doesn't that mean we can't try "multiplayer?"
no subject
[Rejected.... Give him a moment, then he'll realize. Eichi actually wants him to play ripoff King's Knight? Really?] You really want to play with me?
no subject
Isn't it better to play something multiplayer? That's just what I've heard. [Nailed it.]
no subject
It's pretty fun, yeah.
[noct
for fuck's sake noct]
no subject
That hurts, Noct-kun. Do you have something against downloading a game to play with me? I'm a beginner, so even if "King's Knight" did exist here, I would be left in the dust by you. With this, we start on an even playing field.
no subject
Even if we did start at the same time, I'd leave you in the dust before you even knew what hit you.
[because he's a loser]
no subject
[At least he's smiling, even if he thinks Noct is rude as heck. It's kind of refreshing... He's never just sat around playing video games with anyone before. He tried an arcade game once? But it got a little too intense.]
