Careful lest you'll step on their toes.
[ The voice is familiar enough and she wouldn't have said anything if he wasn't familiar to her. It's been a while since she left but it seems that the place deemed it appropriate to bring her back. She was making her way back home and has already exchanged her slacks and shirt to a practical dress. ]

The voice startles him, and he turns, only realizing who it is when his eyes land on her. ]
Peggy! You're back! [ Grinning wide, he makes his way to her, leaning in to plant a friendly kiss to her cheek. It doesn't cross his mind that she might not even remember her previous stay here, but— whatever, he's taking a chance. ] And I don't remember stepping on your toes.

[ She blames him for his kiss even as she accepts it. Luckily, everything from her tone to her smile suggest familiarity. God, there are some people she misses and some who she is glad to still have here. ]
It's good to see you, Captain.
[ She puts the sentiment to words for a change and tilts her head ]
Not do I and yet here you are, practicing.

[ He wouldn't wish on her being stuck here against her will, but after seeing so many friends leave, it's really nice to see a familiar face, particularly one who evidently remembers him. ]
Well, yeah, I can manage random swaying. But I'm learning the waltz now. It's not really the same.

[ she stayed leaned against the wall. Her first step into the room is uneven. She places a hand at her right side where, somewhere beneath the fabric of her dress, a nasty injury still pulls and stings. ]
May I inquire as to the occasion?
[ Surely there is one, yes? for him to want to learn. surely! ]

[ He watches Peggy move further into the room, studying her gait, the way she leans her weight a little more one way or another. ]
What happened to you? [ Not much in the way of subtlety, she'll have to forgive him for that. ]
