I. About Town

[Teddy can be seen at various places around Riverview, but he seems to favor heading out to the park, to the coffee shops. He even sniffs out all the best places to pick up comics and video games. He doesn't mind striking up a conversation while standing in line, or if a title of a comic or game really catches his attention.]

II. Hitting the Clubs

[After his experiences with the cultists? Sleep still isn't coming quite so easy and honestly, the loud music that plays in the clubs around Riverview is distracting and, in a way, a relaxing way to just not think. For the most part, Teddy can't get drunk, but he's legal to drink here and he at least can be seen socially carrying something in his hand or accepting drinks bought for him. Sometimes he can be seen out on the dance floors or just sitting back and people watching or making some conversation here and there.]

III. Training

[Whether it's at the gym or basketball court, or even taking an early morning jog around Riverview, Teddy can be seen out and around Riverview. He might not have a job that necessarily requires strength, and he might have some natural advantages that way, but training and pushing himself is something he genuinely enjoys. As crazy as his life has been since his arrival? He could use some normal.

Teddy might offer to spar with people here and there, although if he's clearly at an advantage, he's holding back. He might invite people to play against him in a game of basketball or offer to spot anyone who needs it in the gym.]

IV. The Incredible Hulkling

[Citizens of Riverview may see a large, green winged man in the skies or perched here and there, patrolling for people to help or handling whatever monsters may be around. Sometimes he's just large and green, on foot and tall enough to tower over most people. He doesn't mean harm though. If someone is bothering you, he'll step in to give a hand. If someone is up to no good, Hulkling is on the case.

He can also be seen leaving the city for some proper monster fighting. Again, sometimes punching things that might want to hurt innocent people is just good stress relief.]

How does anyone win if you turn yourself into Justin Bieber, Billy? Unless you count never getting laid again a win.

[Because Billy definitely isn't getting laid if he's rocking the Justin Bieber look.]

That's my revenge plot for Loki's demons from Muspelheim plot. Only to be utilized in the direst of situations.

( fingers in his hair feel nice even if he's going to have to figure out how to get those braids out later. billy can deal with it. )

I'll think of a different one for the shove Billy into a Wicker Man scheme.

[It's fine-- he doesn't need to see it up close. It's just-- kind of cool to hear about, you know?]

That sounds-- well, pretty deadly actually. I'm definitely glad you didn't shoot when you saw me.

[He pauses.] What are you doing out anyway? Enjoying a walk, dipping into vigilantism?

A couple of times, usually with a group. I helped with clearing the path to the Abandoned City and clearing away all the overgrowth at the amusement park. There were a few monster encounters then as well. But that's a risk you face going in with a big group. Maybe we'll be lucky and get by under the radar.

[He sounds hopeful but really isn't betting on that. Some of these creatures have extremely acute senses that would be impossible to escape the notice of.]

I've brought a compass, just in case. But if all else fails you could always fly up and try to get a lock on our position. We shouldn't travel so far that the Quarantine is out of view from an aerial view.

[Not when her instincts remain shoot first, ask questions later. As Teddy very nearly found out.]

I was searching for a cafe.

Oh, wow... Really? It sounds like you have been busy. [He gives a wry smile.] We're probably not going to be that lucky, you know...

[Just saying...]

Yeah. If things get too bad, I can fly us out, no problem. But I mean-- I feel pretty good with Captain America on my side, especially when he's not suppressed.

[Ugh-- those things were a nightmare.]

You know, if you want-- I can probably point you in the direction of a decent one.

[He gives a more sheepish smile, shrugging his shoulders.]

Vigilantism means you definitely need caffeine every once in a while, you know?

I can imagine.

[The same way the soldiers in her acquaintance always seemed to be in need of tea, on long nights. More than usual.]

You frequent this neighborhood, then?

[Good to know, if she goes wandering again and sees more winged outlines against the roofs of the building.]

I think that if you never get laid again it's all of us that suffers.

[ Loki slides sideways, slumping against Teddy's thick bicep. Hi. ]

Unless this is a clever tactic of the witch to throw me and you into each others arms ...

[ The waggliest of brows. ]

Yeah... I try to move around. I know there's probably not the same danger as there is back home, but--

[He gives a shrug of his shoulders.]

Creatures, cultists... I don't want anyone else to be kidnapped if I can help it, you know?

[Oh, hey there. Teddy shifts a little, sliding on aarm up around Loki's shoulders just so it's a little more comfortable for him to lean in like that, the other arm stays loosely across Billy's legs.

He huffs out a laugh.]

Maybe, but that's one we could still totally turn around on him. Make him just watch us.

If you think you could stop me if I really wanted in, you're so wrong.

( with his face rubbing down against loki's thigh, hand raising to loosen any braids in his hair. )

I only get more powerful with time.

You're not Galactus, Billy.

[ Loki jiggles his legs upon which Billy is reclined, sliding his way sideways to rest a temple on Teddy's shoulder. ]

[He scrunches up his face and shoots Teddy a long look.] I know it. But you don't have to jinx us right off the bat. [Then he smiles to lighten his words and to show he's joking.]

I definitely feel better knowing we have a getaway plan. Just in case.

[He appreciates the vote of confidence and it makes him even more determined to get them both through his outing without any trouble.

Leading the way out of the Quarantine and into the trees, his body tenses in readiness as he scans the path ahead of them, ears listening for any sounds of movement.]

If by more powerful, you mean more of a dork, B...

[Because he's a giant dork, years older or not.

But Teddy really can't say that he minds having Billy sprawled across his lap or Loki leaning into him like he is. It's easy to relax into the contact, tilting his head slightly towards Loki's as his fingers trace absent patterns against Billy's leg.]

Hey, sorry... [He flashes a grin though.] Don't worry, to make up for it, I can take the first creature that thinks we look appetizing.

[Hopefully it won't happen like, right off the bat though...

He follows Steve, letting him take the lead as he strains to listen for any odd sounds-- last time he was out here with Billy, they both got taken by surprise after all.]

Are there many things out here that don't want to eat us or drag us off, by the way?

No, just the future Demiurge.

( with his head tilting back to look to loki, teddy--he really, seriously doesn't mind them getting close; they both love him, he loves them both, it'd be great if they could get to that point with each other, too. )

In case it was unclear, I'd totally be into watching.

[She tilts her head, acknowledging that point.]

I work within the Perimeter Guard to that end, but more military units aren't meant for internal policing.

Oh, yeah? The Perimeter Guard does do plenty of good on its own. I guess sometimes it feels like there just needs to be a more--

[He idly waves a hand.]

Personal view of things, I guess? Someone to keep an eye on things that happens on the street... which I guess is what police are for, but-- a little extra security never hurts. Or maybe I'm just a little paranoid.

The first vigilante I met here dealt with the occasional street harasser--it's a useful in between, I believe. An active citizenry can be a benefit.

[Which is her way of saying it may not be a paranoid thing.]

And after everything, may even be necessary. There's no Station AI here to know everything that happens.

Yeah... I've dealt with a few of those, myself. Back home, they were really popular.

[He gives a short, wry smile at that.]

Station AI?

Yeah, remind me of that when we run into our first monster. You might feel differently then.

[He's run into some pretty gruesome creatures out here. Things even he struggled to handle on his own.]

If there are...I haven't run into any yet.

[It could be terrible luck on his part, but everything he's encountered has been extremely dangerous. He's not picking up on any unusual sounds, which is a good sign. Especially this close to the Quarantine walls.]

Don't worry... I'm not very edible. I think.

[He's at least got the armor on his side...]

Figures... if everything was cute, cuddly animals, there'd probably still be some kind of catch. They'd look like teddy bears and like, spit acid or something.

The vigilantism? Or the street harassment? [She asks it wryly, quirking one eyebrow at him as she finally gestures, inviting him to lead the way.] If you don't mind showing me to one of those cafes, I can compensate you for your time. [And also buy him a drink for almost but not quite pulling a gun on him.]

Hub Stations, where I'm from, have and AI to maintain the station's functions and monitor the residents.

Both? I patrolled the streets back home too... stopped a lot of idiots who thought it was cool to harass people minding their own business.

[He starts to lead the way to the cafe, letting out a laugh.] Hey, it's totally fine.

[He turns his head to look back at her, nodding his head.]

Do they watch the residents everywhere? Or just on the streets?
