who:  Gyda and Galadriel
what: Visiting and language lessons
when:  soon after the coma patients wake up
where:  Room 5: floor 13
warnings: TBD

She knew of the kidnappings, they all did thanks to the network and rumors going around. If her family hovered over her before, they were constantly checking on her now. Gyda couldn't blame them of course; she'd only just received back her sight after all, but now that she could actually see where she was going, she wanted to be able to visit places on her own. Only by strapping on every weapon she owned did they even let her out of the house.

That day she meant to visit Galadriel. Hearing that the elf-queen was taken ill worried her; elves were meant to be immortal, so what sort of magic (or technology) was it that they were dealing with? Most of her visits because she wished to learn the elvish language called Sindarin/ There was more then one language according to the elf-woman, but she wished to learn the more commonly used dialect. More elves might arrive here and she wished to be able to speak with them in her own tongue.

Another reason was to give her some small, berry-filled cakes that she'd made. Now with her vision back and it being the start of summer, she was doing all sorts of baking, now that she could do so without assistance. She also hoped the cakes would cheer her up after having recovered from illness.

She arrived at the usual time of their lessons, but with all going on, she messaged her before hand just incase, then waited by the entrance of the building to be invited inside.

Gyda didn't wait long at the door; as usual, Galadriel opened it promptly, greeting her with a smile and a a little nod.

"Gi suilon. It's good to see you, little one. I am always glad of your company."

And the truth was, between her recent (unprecedented) illness and her concern over rumors of recent kidnappings, she had been in a rather poor humor lately; she could rather use a bit of cheering. It wasn't until she had ushered Gyda inside the building that she noticed the cakes.

"Did you bake these yourself? I am most impressed."
