[ OH GOD this means Aoba needs to get dressed right away?! Having the day off, Aoba basically didn't bother getting dressed and has been just bumming it around the house, swiping around on Friendr and being a useless leech on Quarantine society.

He ends up spending too much time picking what to wear too, which is stupid, because he's just going to wear a yukata the rest of the day anyway. But listen... he just wants to look good, okay?

Don't ask why. That's embarrassing. But by the time Karamatsu shows up, Aoba's showered, tied up his hair and he's wearing some new clothes. Shorts and sandals with a light, short-sleeved shirt. He's a little out of breath too, because he's been full tilt rushing through trying on several sets of clothes and he didn't have time to pick up after himself and his place looks like a tornado blew through it --

Anyway, hi. ]

H...hi, did you wait long?

<sub>[ Karamatsu completely gets that; he completely understands the need to be very particular about clothing. He's wearing something similar only his shorts are probably shorter, sandals and what seems to be a blue ombre tank top. Nothing too bad, but the openings on the side of the tank are a little too big and exposing.

In his hands is a teddy bear, about three feet high, and he presents it to Aoba all the while peering over its head. ]</sub>

[ Aoba blinks as he's greeted initially by a bear speaking with Karamatsu's voice, but as soon as he pokes his head around the gigantic gift, any momentary confusion is gone. Listen, it's happened once before -- Karamatsu looked like a tall drink of water once and had him fooled for hours before he finally realized something was up with that idol. ]

Ah, th-thank you...

[ It's big, he thinks, feeling sweat prickle at the back of his neck. It's also very cute. And precisely the sort of thing you might give your girlfriend. Aoba isn't sure how to feel about it. So, he cracks a joke: ]

It occurs to him that maybe, Karamatsu's only experience is with girls and judging from his track record, he wasn't all that successful. Maybe he just needs a little push in the right direction. [ In stark contrast, Karamatsu is giving him too many gifts and they're of a similar sort. He has more stuffed animals than he knows what to do with, and at some point he needs to start thinking about donating them to... maybe charity or something. But it's hard to do that when you know someone gave it to you.

UGH. THIS IS HARD. And know what else is hard? Karamatsu, apparently. Or he's going hard after that sweet, sweet aobooty. ]

K-Karamatsu, oi -- that sort of thing... [ Aoba trails off, unable to finish that sentence out of sheer embarrassment. NOW HE'S ALL FLUSTERED, so instead he'll just take his hand and start heading for the street so they can get a move on already! ] We should get going, before the shops get mobbed. [ There's really no danger of that happening BUT OKAY. ]
