who: Alex Reagan and Open what: May normal stuff, plus mingle stuff and possibly sickness plotting stuff. when: Month of May! where: All over Riverview. warnings: Possible illness stuff, shippy stuff.
Let's start with Ellen. [Alex says quickly, and she points to the first name on the list with a firm nod, because it makes the most sense to her to start with someone who she knows as a warm up. And she also knows that if people see someone they trust talking to her, then they're more likely to talk to her themselves. Interviewing 101 when it comes down to it.]
I know her, see her all the time and I'm a good tipper, so I think she likes me. If nothing else, she does know who I am and that I'm pretty trust worthy. We'll work out from there, see if people will talk to us after they see us talking to her. Given how the virus works, I expect that other people will want to have a hand in trying to stop it if they can.
[Unlike the two men who were with her, Alex still happened to believe that most people were good. If they weren't, then the terrible people she was forced to interact with, like Thomas Warren, were the norm, Alex would probably lose her mind.]
Okay cool. Do you think he'd prefer to talk to you alone?
[Richard continued to stay quiet and watch. Of course, if they were to split up he would be going with Alex, but that was as far as any preference that he might have in this whole thing went. They would figure things out and decide the course of action, he had absolutely no input on the subject.]
[If he was anything like the sort of copper Peter knew, he'd certainly react better to another officer than a reporter, at least. And no matter how Alex approached, she was definitely a reporter.]
Leave that to me, then. I'll see if he'll be willing to speak with you after.
[It was at least the beginning of a plan. He glanced between Alex and Richard, something not quite measuring.]
I'll call you or do you want to come up with a place to meet?
[Alex knew that sometimes there were other people that were right for a job, so she just agreed with Peter. While Alex was actually a very good reporter, she knew that there were times where she could be... Well, she could be a bit much honestly. And a lot of cops didn't know how to handle tiny women who were a bit much. So, she just nodded quickly, and then lifted her arm to look at her watch.]
Wanna call meeting in four hours? It should give us enough time to at least get through the people I know on this list.
[Things seemed settled as he watched them converse and Alex looked at her watch. Then there was that look. Richard raised a brow, looking directly at Peter.]

You mean aside from a possibly manufactured outbreak putting people into comas? No, nothing.
