[ After sending out a mission transmission for whoever wants to help clean up the abandoned and overgrown hotsprings, Aeacinos will wait outside the wall for whoever decided to show up. He has a lot of food and supplies in hefty sized bags at his side so that there's enough for a few days worth of traveling. ]

[ OH THANK GOD. Aoba looks relieved. ]

Oh, so in other words, you work for his family.

[ Aoba dissects a piece of his sandwich he's torn off to sample each ingredient separately, not so much playing with his food as reminding himself that the combination of ingredients really makes all the difference. And possibly because he might want to make this again sometime soon. ]

Is it awkward? I mean, it's not like you're anywhere near home.

Yes, that's what it is.

[He eats his own food, watching all the others settle in and enjoy the meal]

Not at all. As I've said, we've known each other since we were young. Where we are doesn't change who we are.

[ After all, he didn't change much. The job was different, his home was different, that was pretty much it. ]

I mean, when I first came here, I just picked up where I left off... even though the person I was with didn't remember the same things I did.

That happened with us. He told me I was here once before, but I have no memory of it.

[That gets another little smile] Yes, we are. We've been through a lot together. Us and our two other companions, who are still back in our world.

[ Aoba bites into the sandwich and chews thoughtfully for a while. He's thinking about those he's left behind, those who left him behind... ]

I wish there was a way to bring people here. But I guess that's kind of selfish of me.
