When Duty Calls....Or Not
who: Riza Hawkeye + YOU
what: Perimeter Guard duty, general wandering.
when: Around Mid April
where: The Perimeter, various other places
warnings: None at the moment. Will update as needed.
Perimeter Wandering
Wandering the fences wasn't nearly as bad as sitting in a sniper's nest at the edge of a battlefield. Still, she wanted her rifle and she was eager to get it back. She used her time on patrol to think about how she might be able to get it back. She didn't let her guard down either, since there could be dangerous things trying to get in and she had her duty to protect the innocent people that were brought here.
She knew there were other patrols around and they'd eventually overlap, but for now things were quiet and she could relax just a little bit. She was still keeping watch. She was too much of a soldier to let her mind wander too much. She had a job to do and she was going to do it.
Around Quarantine
Riza had more time to herself than she realized. Back home too much was going on for her to have any real free time at all. With the Promised Day coming up, there was just too much to do to. Here things were far too different and a lot more relaxed than she was used to. At least she had a job with the Perimeter Guard or she would be going out of her mind.
She wandered around town, just looking around and getting a better idea of where places were. She didn't have her own apartment or house here, so she didn't spend much on anything besides a few more outfits to wear when she wasn't on guard duty.
Around lunch time, she found a nice little cafe to eat at, preferring to sit outside since it was a nice day and watch the people go by.

perimeter;
He stops a few paces away from and waves. She's not a familiar face, but there are still a number of people on the Perimeter Guard he hasn't had the chance to meet yet.
"All clear on your side?"

She didn't recognize him, but then again, she only really knew two people in the guard. She gave him a small, but friendly smile before looking outside of the city again and then back at him. They could talk, but she still needed to keep her focus on her job.
"I'm Riza Hawkeye, its nice to meet you," she said. It was obvious by the way she held herself and how she kept looking out beyond the perimeter that she had some military experience.

"Steve Rogers. It's nice to meet you as well. Have you been with the Perimeter Guard long?"
