Mebbe if I didn' get shobed into a lake yesterday. [Tim sneezes a bit, his nose very red from similar exertions.]

Why're you touchin' bee? [He meant 'me' but really, same diff.]

[ Damian makes a face and retracts when Drake re-snottifiest himself with a single sneeze.

He thought to ask "What bee?" just to be contrary, but Drake was suffering enough and Damian wasn't one to kick a sick dog. Even if that dog was Drake. ]

It's what Pennyworth does whenever we sneeze. I was gauging how high your body temperature was and if it was grounds for concern.

[timmers]

Mm, don't thig so. [He reaches for some tissues to wipe with.]

You prolly won't catch it. I'm just. Compromised. [ah-choo!]

The concern wasn't for me. I don't get sick.

[ At least he doesn't believe he can. Years of survival training and living in various weather conditions and he'd never once caught the sniffles. He caught a case of the deads once, but not a cold. ]

[timmers]

Yet. [Tim sniffs. Even sheer stubbornness can only do so much against the common cold, Damian.]

Won't even talk aboud how you're still here on a school day.

[ This might have more to do with genetic experimentation than a force of will, but whatever you need to tell yourself to feel less weak, Drake. ]

Good. [ He smirks as he shovels another spoonful of cereal into his mouth. If Drake wasn't going to talk about it, then neither was Damian, because they both knew why he was here. Damian is cutting again. The school system as a joke and he wanted no part of it. ]

Are you sure you don't require hospitalization? Hard to imagine you got this bad from just a dip in the river. [ Maybe he caught something from those alien creatures? But then that brought up the question of why Damian wasn't sick too. He got wet as well and had just as much contact with those creatures. ]

[timmers]

Nod normally. [Tim sneezes to clear his sinuses.] I had booster shots. Just, it's really easy to catch a cold when you don't have a spleen. Booster shots didn't even make a dent. Maybe if I'd gotten into my suit first. [He gave Damian a pointed look.]

[sonofab]

...You don't have a spleen? [ Damian pauses mid spoon lift at that confession. ]

Well if you told me that I might not have pushed you in the first place! [ He suddenly barks, flinging cereal when he points his spoon at him accusingly. Ugh, now you are touching his food! Dammit, Drake! ]

[timmers]

[The look of shock is almost worth gettng the cold. Almost. He's kind of surprised Jason didn't tell him. Then again, it wasn't actually relevant information to anyone but Tim.] It's why I take those trips to the hospital-- Wha- hey!

[He wipes the cereal off.] You're wasting good fuwd. [Ugh ok his nose is starting to stuff up again already. He eats what cereal he can and reaches for Damian's bowl if he's not gonna eat it.]

It's just cereal, also not the point. You should've disclosed that information. [ He moves off his seat and shoves Drake back into a chair. ]

Were you concerned about looking weak if I knew?[ He gets a cup out of the cabinet then some items out from around the kitchen. ] How'd you lose an organ anyway?
