[Ivar looks a bit put-out and sad when Jyn immediately tells him no, but then she seems to change her mind, and he perks back up. He's very much the same way when he plays with his brothers. Sigurd isn't much fun to play with sometimes when he gets all mean and the other three will exclude him.

He's not sure of most of the words she's using, but people use different words for different things, so he takes it all in stride.]

What's a pilot? [He doesn't know that word. In his mind, when she says ships, he thinks of the wooden ones with sails that move over the water.]
