Floor 5; any date

[While the floor is undoubtedly the craziest thing he's ever lived through, he's settled in pretty well. Sometimes, he'll be spotted around the kitchen poking around for food or making coffee, other times he'll be curled up in his bed with a book. Other times, he'll join his floormates for some company.

And sometimes, when it's too late and he can't sleep, he'll try to, as quietly as he can, sneak out on the balcony for some fresh air or get outside for a walk.]

[Being on the perimeter guard certainly gives Billy something t (616): bucky barneso do, and helps. Being a hero is something that he can never escape from, it seems, even if it feels like sometimes... it might be easier. Still, nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment that comes with keeping someone safe or defending against any unruly monsters. He'll be glad to give anyone a hand if they need it with either a bit of lightning or magically summoned shields or enhancements. He can try to heal minor wounds in others, or put beasts to sleep with a word.]

gym; any date

[Billy isn't particularly fond of working out, but it's part of the whole superhero gig, and he's been taking it even more seriously lately. Keeping himself strong and ready, just in case his magic ever doesn't save him is kind of a good idea. He might ask people to spot him, he might even be convinced to spar although physical fighting isn't really his strongest suit. He's definitely up for some pointers though.]

shopping; any date

[Shopping is something Billy is definitely into. Books, clothes, any sort of geeky items he can find. You name it, he'll eat it up. He might also be scouring for items related to magic, something to help further his training a little bit. It's the best use of his time here, he figures, minus working his way to getting back home.]

fireflies; any date

[Being on the perimeter guard means that Billy is relatively busy. It doesn't leave him much room to stay huddled indoors away from insects. Bites are a thing that can and will happen.

Red: Billy has a short temper under normal circumstances, so under the influence of strange bug bites? He's likely to be driven towards it more than lust. He's got a sharp tongue when angered, he can get downright nasty, and he's not above throwing punches if pushed too far. Worse yet, he has a tendency to crackle with energy when he's particularly pushed too far. Get too close, you might get a shock.
Orange: Billy is generally a rather honest individual. He'll tell it like it is because he firmly believes there's no sense in hiding yourself. The only thing he's particularly guarded about tends to be his mental state, what worries hound him. Sometimes, he fears he'll be a failure, or that he'll end up like his mother and lose it, rewrite reality in some unforgivable way or pose a danger to others. Sometimes he's afraid he'll lose control, and that's not good for a guy destined to be a deity who rewrites the laws of magic. He doesn't speak of his depression or the darker tendencies that come with it. He doesn't really talk about how much he misses his family or his boyfriend or his team back home. He'll be more open to sharing under the influence.
Yellow: He's used to anxiety and fear. He'll be more guarded, wary of everything around him. He'll be even more defensive and sarcastic than usual in an attempt to hide it.
Green: He'll be envious of those that seem to have more control over themselves, more confidence in their abilities than he feels like he'll ever be able to.
Blue: Grief is something he's always used to. He's lost friends, he's been tortured, he's been put in prison. He's messed up in huge ways-- lost control of his powers and put half of downtown in a coma. He's invaded a country single-handedly and ignited a conflict that cost the lives of two of his friends and sent one spiraling into the villainy he'd been trying to escape. He's been sent to a prison for those with super powers, cuffed and gagged. He's been tortured. He's brought a parasite over that nearly destroyed the world that he just barely defeated. Even the Avengers thought of him as a threat at one point. On top of all that? He's also learned that his destiny is to rewrite the rules of magic, to become a god. It feels crushingly heavy at times. Billy is less likely to have an outburst, though. He's less likely to talk or to shave, or to be able to even will himself out of bed though.]

Violet firefly; locked to Loki

[Billy's affection comes with softer looks, more genuine smiles. It comes with lingering touches than he typically ever gives. It's not something he generally shares with just anybody, if he's being honest. With the influence of the bite though? It's coming out full force, and he doesn't even really realize it. He's out one day enjoying a day off, a cup of coffee in one hand, and no particular plan in mind beyond finding something fun to do. Finding a way to relax and de-stress, that's all.

when he sees Loki though, he gives a quick wave with his free hand, motioning him over. If there's a sudden wash of warmth and expression at the sight of him, Billy ignores it easily enough for now.]

Hey-- are you free today?

[ Glancing up from his phone when he picks up on motion on his peripheral vision, it seems perfectly normal to see Billy being naively friendly (in all the ways that push Loki's buttons to try and stop him from doing it while lapping it up) and he trots obediently over the road to meet with him. ]

Freer than I was a minute ago, sure. [ Flirtation is an easy go-to for him when it comes to Billy, a bad old joke turned into something fonder that can be easily dismissed. That's why he offers his arm as he gestures for them to continue down the street; he expects Billy to roll his eyes and chastise him. ] What're you up to?

[There's a roll of his eyes at that, though there's less exasperation than there usually is, and he doesn't exactly decline the offer made either. He slides his arm into Loki's, enjoying the contact while it lasts.] Good, even if that was a pretty cheesy line.

[He nudges at him lightly.] Nothing, really. Just seeing what I can get up to, mostly. Want to join me?

[ikols]

[ ... Well, then. He'll be the gent with Billy unexpectedly on his arm and straighten up a bit. ]

I suppose, since you've got us a thrilling quest of nothingness planned. Where've you been so far? Besides on the hunt for a mocha.

Just for coffee so far. I was thinking of checking out some shops, maybe grabbing lunch later.

[He gives a curious look.]

Unless you've got a better idea, at least.

You're being awfully accommodating today. No, 'I want to go here!' or 'Show me this!'

[ Not that he's opposed to an amiable, pliant-minded Billy if this is the result. It's like having a dollop of sunshine on his arm. ]

C'mon, I'm not that bad, am I?

[He idly scratches at his neck, frowning a little bit. He's pretty sure he got bit earlier, but-- so far? He thinks he feels okay. It's probably not worth worrying Loki over, anyway.

You know, he doesn't feel like he's about to succumb to blind rage or anything at least. Or strip Loki's clothes off.]

Besides, you seem to like it when I get demanding, admit it.

[ikols]

[ Tugging on a lock of Billy's hair, hush you. ]

Only because you turn the most classic shade of tomato-red within record time when worked up.

Wow, I do not.

[He huffs out a laugh, giving Loki a playful nudge.]

C'mon, let's go see what trouble we can get into. You know what'd be cool? An arcade or something. Bet I could beat you... or at least give you a run for your money.

[ikols]

[ ... Okay, now he's squinting. ]

Trouble. You? Alright, who made you do shots? Or the equivalent. [ Poking him in the chest as they walk arm-in-arm. ] You're either drunk or high, and I'm not entirely sure which. Even you aren't this chummy with me, Billy.

[ The hustle and bustle of the market carries a beat that Líadan could very well dance to. She is, in a sense, for how her feet fall in time with it as she weaves nimbly through the crowds and forges quick paths through them to take a gander at the wares on display. She's looking for some very particular things and not having too terribly much luck if the lack of weight about her satchel is any indication, but -- ah? She'll be skidding to a stop upon catching sight of a familiar head of hair. Is that -- ]

Billy?

[ She'll brighten and raise a hand as well as her voice in the hopes of flagging who she very much hopes is Billy down, peering curiously as she steps forward to forge a path toward him. ]

Billy, is that you? [ She's pretty sure it's him... ]

Hm--?

[He recognizes the voice easily enough, peering up to look around the crowd. And-- yeah, it's definitely Li. He gives a wave back and a friendly smile, pleased to see her again. He moves to meet her after a moment.]

Hey! Out shopping too, huh? Are you looking for something in particular or just seeing what they've got to offer?

A little bit of both, I think!

[ And she's glad for familiar company, brightening that much more. ]

I'm hoping to find the items I need to build a suitable station so that I can get to work discerning the effects of the ingredients I've been collecting and transmute them into proper potions. What about you?

Oh-- really? You do potions... what kind?

[That definitely piques his interest. Talking about magic is always something he's up for.]

Just trying to see if anything catches my eye mostly. Want some company?

Did you really have to ask? I'm always glad to have company!

[ Even better that it's good company in this case and her smile says as much. That inquiry sees it tug into a grin, though. ]

Health, stamina, and stealth potions are among my regulars for adventuring alongside some others with more debilitating effects for enemies, but I have developed a number that can cure of illnesses and some ailments as well and was looking to start on something to achieve invisibility. It seems I'm working with new ingredients here, though, so discerning effects before putting things together is a must.

Wow-- that's amazing. You can really make all of that?

[That's just... an amazing amount of potions, honestly, especially to someone who isn't very familiar with them at all.]

If you can give me a list, I can keep an eye out for you?

With the right ingredients. If you'd like, I can teach you a bit after I get everything together well enough.

[ She's hoping to make that a sooner than later arrangement. Nodding thoughtfully, she pauses a second. ]

If you come across any flowers, berries, seeds, or roots, those would be a good starting point. Most natural things have some property to them. I've been collecting ingredients during my hunts and I'm amassing something more like an acceptable collection to begin with.

I'd love that, if you've got the time.

[He gives a nod at that.]

Sure. I'll keep an eye out when I'm on guard duty too. You can come across some interesting stuff, right?

[Billy promised that he'd show up, and he doesn't really try to break those-- especially when there's the promise of music involved, and people closer to his own age. He likes living on the floor he does, but-- most of his roommates, save for a select couple? All very much older than him.

And really, he's glad that he came. He manages to make his way through crowds to get a bit closer, make sure Eichi sees him in the crowd. He even gives a brief, friendly smile when he thinks that he sees him looking.

Billy has fun, honestly. The musc is good, the energy is good, and there's no way that he's not staying and waiting to meet Eichi afterwards.

Maybe he should have been smarter-- there are those annoying bugs around, but... he isn't really thinking about it. He isn't really even trying to protect himself from them. Instead, when Eichi is finally off the stage after his performance and out where Billy can see him, he's waving him down.]

Hey! You know-- that was great. I'm impressed.

[Eichi always notices his audience. He's always been one to take in each and every face he could, to remember who came back to multiple shows, who the loudest ones were, and so on. So of course, that brief smile is met by a wider one from Eichi as he sings, a flick of his wrist in gesture with his dance. An acknowledgement without ruining his performance.

Something like a Japanese idol might be different for these clubs, but he certainly seems to know how to raise the energy. He does quite well, and puts so much effort into it that by the time he's walking over to meet with Billy, he looks downright exhausted. His hair is a little messed up now, and he's tried to wipe the sweat from the side of his face, but he's certainly gotten his workout. His heart is still beating like crazy, and he feels so energized.]

You made it after all. I was glad to see your face. Did you really like it? [He seems so honestly glad about that, laughing lightly and gesturing that they move further from the crowds.] Thank you. Ahh, such an energizing performance has my heart rate skyrocketing... I was worried that I would never be able to do something like this again, you know?

You were amazing! [Maybe not something he's entirely used to seeing live in Manhattan, but it was definitely fun to watch-- and Eichi was definitely enjoying himself.]

It's amazing-- the jobs they have here, huh? Practically anything you can imagine.

[Well, almost, anyway.] Is it different, performing in this kind of place?

[He's dressed to give the impression of an angel, and the way his face glows only matches with that. White fancy clothes, blue scarves tied at his waist, draped over his arms, golden accents on his coat. It went more perfectly than he could have imagined, and he's buzzing because of it.]

Incredibly so. The crowds I deal with always expect the unique music that comes from an idol, but people that come here come for a different reason. I have to work that much harder... It's a thrilling challenge. [He doesn't even notice the soft glow of a few bugs in the area, mixed in with the glowsticks of his audience.]

You looked great up there though... and I think the crowd loved you a lot.

[Everyone seemed to have a good idea, yeah, and right now, Billy makes a motion.]

Wanna go sit down for a bit or anything? We can grab something to drink...

[He doesn't really notice the bugs either, although you'd think he'd know to keep an eye out, to be a little paranoid...]

[He's so flattered, still in the buzz of performing and now being complimented by someone he barely knows. He has to appear perfect at all times, he still thinks, but he can't help the slight tinting of his cheeks.

He reaches to lightly take Billy's arm, his free hand pointing out somewhere they can sit, away from the dancing.] Let's sit, yes. Over there looks fine, doesn't it?

[As long as it's okay, he'll lead him that way. Eventually, those bugs are going to become unavoidable, but right now, Eichi is just worried about having a good time and probably sitting down before he overexerts himself.]

[noassgardian]

[He heads towards where Eichi pointed out, giving a nod.] Definitely. Do you want a water or anything? I can grab it.

[Billy does have to wave a hand around when he notices one of those bugs buzzing a little too near, making a face.]

Ugh-- those things are annoying.

[If one happens to land on him in a place he can't really see? Well, he doesn't notice for obvious reasons. Besides, they're somewhere a little more out of the way, somewhere they can sit and talk more.]

Would you mind? Some water sounds perfect right now.

[He's a little tired, and performing as hard as he does with his sickly body means he should always try to take care of himself like that. If Billy's going to offer, that's even nicer. He raises his own hand to swat at the air as well, but that's the most he pays attention to the bugs right now. He hasn't heard about them at all...]

I'll save a table for us, so you can meet me there. I'll find a spot without any pests, ok?
