[ It's taken longer than he planned on, or really wanted, to gather the resources and, finally, enough information to take to the heist he'd presented to Arthur more than a month prior. But as much as he will adamantly refuse to admit as much aloud, Eames knows that his companion has the right of it in at least trying to be prepared.

Eventually, however, reasoned patience turns to boredom, then worry, and then anxious impatience. Another few days, and he can't swallow it anymore, and he marches right on down the hall, pounding on Arthur's door. It's time, whether he likes it or not.

He'll go alone, if he has to. (The puppy only tempers him so much). ]

[ When Eames starts beating on his door, Arthur is still in the process of decompressing after getting back from a job a few minutes prior. He knows they had agreed to do this job together, but they had yet to agree on a specific date. So he's jumping slightly at the sudden noise, turning to look at the door before going over.

He can't keep the annoyance or confusion out of his expression when he sees Eames. ]

[ Luckily, he assumes the annoyance as a basic reaction on Arthur's part in any interaction, and it barely registers. ]

You're needed, darling.

[ He doesn't bother asking if it's a bad time. (Any time is a bad time.) Though his intent should be somewhat clear: his typical (ridiculous) well-put-together ensemble has been replaced with something more akin to "I bought all of this at the sporting goods shop two hours ago." ]
