[Nerd is definitely a name Roy would embrace. Has embraced. He's been a nerd about as long as he's been alive, whether it's because of his dorky jokes or his robotics obsession or whatever else. Nerdiness runs in his blood.

Honestly? Roy's also all about warm and casual. Those things have been woven through the fabric of what he is his whole life, just like his tendency to the nerdy, but it's not actually all that often that those parts of him are welcome, wanted. Usually he's working hard to get through the armor on someone or another who doesn't really want his attention or affection. Having someone around, even for like 15 minutes so far, who really wants that attention, feels good.
