No...well. Families used to send their sons to the school, but I think that was more about finding something to do with them and less continuing a family line or anything. Anyone can learn magic, so long as there's someone to teach you.

[So no Purebloods here. Peter shrugs a little, mostly to cover the fact that he's still a little uncomfortable with what exactly the Folly used to be. He's come to terms with it for the most part, but talking about it in blunt terms is a heavy reminder that he'd never have gotten a look in if things were still the way they'd used to be.]

Just seems like a very different system. Or world. Seems like a lot of place, magic runs differently.
