Part of it is his usual wariness about mixing magic and his brain - probably wouldn't interact badly with his powers, but why tempt fate? - and another part is: ]

I don't know about the mind control thing. It's not... it's not the same if you're not, you know. The whole point is you get to decide if you want to, um, behave or push back a little. It's unpredictable. Magic just kind of spoils that. But I'm totally down with bondage-

[ He says that a little too loudly, as they are walking past a group of strangers, who don't snicker or laugh or anything rude, but who do turn to look, which is almost as mortifying as if they had laughed. Cisco ducks his head, cheeks burning, and adds much lower: ]
