[open] they've summoned up a thundercloud
who: Morrigan + whoever
what: Catch-all. If there's something specific you'd like to do, PM me! I don't mind adding starters.
when: Last half of April.
where: Outside the city, or on the rooftop of the communal housing building (with fireflies).
warnings: Magical violence. No further warnings expected but will update if necessary.
note: Prose is my default but I'll match your style if you prefer brackets! I have large chunks of time to roleplay over the next ~10 days. If any threads continue beyond that I'll happily tag but more slowly.
I.
While she saves her wages and looks for a place of her own, a place that grants the privacy she craves, Morrigan prefers to spend most of her time out of her assigned apartment. Weaving her way through the city can help her find ways to spend a few hours, but on days when the job she was offered gives her time off, she prefers to explore what lies beyond the protective fences.
Armed with little more than a leather pouch in which she stores a borrowed journal full of sketches of local plantlife and the cuttings she collects along her way, she wanders the area with due caution when necessary -- these are not the wilds she knows so well -- but no fear.
A sudden growl from a nearby thicket lets her know she is not alone, but the creature leaps before she can put more space between them. She quickly shifts, the air shimmering around her. Her slender frame gives way to a form bulkier and lower to the ground, four limbs lengthening into eight. Speed and venom are on her side now. A well-aimed bit of webbing slows the fanged creature, making it easier to hit.
[Action threads are A+. You can also catch her after she's taken care of the threat if you'd like.]
II.
The swarm of colored fireflies is, if she is honest, breath-taking. It is worth investigation, to be certain, and possibly a great nuisance, but from her perch on the rooftop, looking out on the city and its night-time lights, she can easily appreciate the swarm's beauty.
Not as many fireflies venture up here, seeming to prefer areas more populated or brightly lit, but every now and then some flit around. One is bold enough to land on her, traveling down her arm until she has to bend her elbow to better track its progress. It seems harmless until she feels a slight sting. In retaliation, she brushes it off.
[I'll just be RNGing the color unless you have a request!]

everything is tragic. Scott's a tragic guy!
"Me? Ant-man. Obviously." Hence the bug-liberation agenda?
