family reunion?

who: Ciel, Undertaker, Vincent, Lizzie, anyone else that gets dragged over
what: New noble in town?
when: Mid-January..?
where: Kuro-household
warnings: none!

With the sudden appearance of his fiancee, and his father bringing her to the house, Ciel had to figure out just how to react after so many months. Here and back in England. She'd run off, from her own family home, from his manor, and now she was here.

He still hadn't quite acknowledged his brothers return or his assuming that identity. So he wasn't sure where he'd stand with Lizzie on that. Or that he was living in such a cozy house with Undertaker of all people, that Sebastian wasn't here.

"Undertaker..?" He had to at least make sure his housemate knew they were having company. In case Vincent had only contacted his son.

Out of the loop on so many things! What is the world coming to? Ah, well, it can't be worse than what it already has come to, can it? If the boy wants to find him, he won't have to look far. Undertaker has planted himself on their bed, a book near about in his face as he reads, but that voice catches his attention when the Earl calls to him.

"Here, milord. Something I can do for you?"

He held the book open in his lap, watching the boy crawl up on the bed with him. No sense in hiding what he was reading, just one of their killing time books about some misadventure or another, but he left it for the moment to see to what Ciel wanted. He hummed and nodded - not too unusual to find another person at a party. But then he paused, a grin splitting his face to learn just who had been found.

"Ohhh, milord. Looks like there'll be a wedding after all."

He can't help his giggling at that. It was the sort that, had he not been lying in bed at the time, he might have needed to hold onto something to keep his balance. Oh, he did so love teasing the Earl when he had the chance. It wasn't near often enough, if left up to his opinions.

"Ah, so you say. But you're that much closer now than you were before." He sets his book aside and rolls to face the boy, one hand propping up his chin. "You'll have to tell me wha that's like. I've not been married and I'm afraid I never will, but such is life."

He would have welcomed that, and another bout of laughter, for it. But he'll wait for the next one. Ciel never ceases to provide.

"Better than six centuries, to be sure, and still not a wife to my claims. Too ugly, I think it is, or too peculiar, but the way I've seen it go on at my level of society, I'm not sure I'd want to wed." He rolls onto his back to splay out his arms and legs. "Not that I expect a fancy bloke like yourself would have ended up in one, but have you heard the bar talk? It's a right mess, is what it is."

Ah, that one. He had been a little taken with one thing, really. Or was it she? Whatever fit the bill. But he shrugs at mention of it being his occupation and can't very well deny that. No one liked being in his shop more than they had to, even the Earl and especially his companions. It was what it was.

"Bar talk," he repeated, and grinned widely, tilting his head toward the boy to get a better look. "Tales that would burn your ears off, milord. Course it's mostly the men doing the complaining, so some of it is biased. You'll not find a decent woman in a bar, but even the indecent ones stay away unless they're looking for a night romp."

Always looking to play the part, that one. He'd not really cared. Still didn't. But the thought of Ciel in a bar amused another giggle out of him. "Wouldn't be much for you in one of those establishments anyway. Most they'd sell you is a water and a cheap bit of information, maybe not even worth what you pay for it."

He shakes his head, one long nail at his chin. "Milord in a bar... Oh my."
