Lola scribbles down the items, "What kind of shake?" Before passing the note off to the kitchen. She hops down and kicks her little standing box down the back of the counter to where the all the materials are for making a milkshake.

"Surprise me," He didn't feel like making a choice.

Still, she wasn't sure how much knew about it already, and how much he wanted to hear her complain about a girl who Lola would rather just ignore. Also Lola's hair had turned storm gray again just thinking about Letha.
Still, she started making a shake that... the color said blueberries but in fact they were a blue strawberry not native to any Earth she was used to, but were tasty enough and generally surprising given the color of the shake.

Jason didn't mind hearing her complain, it certainly beat most of the stuff in his life lately. So it was always a welcomed change to hear someone else's world. He pulled his phone out making a quick note 'Grey, maybe anger or annoyance.' Yes, he's studying her power. Ignore him.
He was about to be shocked. Luckily he like's strawberries.

"Yeah, so..." Lola paused a moment to collect her thoughts, figure out how best to tell this story. Well, the beginning was good enough, "Ivar, Letha, and I all arrived about the same time? Ivar and Letha had a very intense romance after she got over the being here without her husband. Letha also arrived pregnant, which is important. Cause back in August, she gave birth. Winter is cute, for, you know, a baby."
It was at this point in the story Lola's demeanor went from casual to that moody expression she gets. Like whatever it was, this was where it was in the story. She passed Jason his smoothie, "Letha went back through the portal. Enough time to send goodbye messages. And she left the baby with Ivar. I doubt she even knows that that's why I'm mad at her..."
It was at this point Lola switched to Spanish and said several unkind things about Victorian Necromancers. And started trying to use a towel to dig a hole through the counter with how vigorously she was scrubbing a section. Lola's really good at negative emotions!

"Winter is a cute name for a baby." He commented as he rested his head on his palm. Listening as she explained. Having a pretty good idea where this was heading even if it made his stomach drop a bit. He moved the hand not propping his head over to take the glass and take a drink.
"Did she even try to contact him or her child when she came back?" Jason asked, a softer note to his tone, but a sardonic smirk at her Spanish cursing.

"She's um, an albino, so it kinda has to do with how pale and wintery her palette is." Which is pretty cute, at least to Lola. For a baby, babies aren't really cute themselves, but a great deal of eventual potential that'll happen when they're old enough to be interesting.
"I dunno, I was too mad at her to ask." Lola's trying to not be angry, but it is rather difficult talking about an infuriating selfish bi- woman. Lola looked a little embarrassed about all her emotions, "I don't think she expected to see me. She got all uneasy because I was glaring at her."
