[Closed] Christmas: Oooh, Ooh, been wishin' for you

who: Aoba Seragaki ([personal profile] bottombitch) and Noiz ([personal profile] bunnyblock
what: A Christmas celebration. Gift giving and... canon updating... expect man tears, especially from Aoba.
when: CHRISTMAS MORNING!
where: Shared Housing; Floor 11, Room 1
warnings: Um. None right now, will update if necessary (check subject lines)

[ Christmas Eve was, as far as Aoba could tell, meant for couples too early in their relationships to be housing together, so they skipped the flirtation with 'staying over' that lovers did on the eve of the holiday and he instead opted to make a day of it.

In the morning, he stole out of his room early, long before dawn's light stretched out through the curtains to feel it's way into the cold living room, searching for dark corners to warm with what little solar light it could. In that dim light he started to make coffee, letting the brewing process summon Noiz through that miraculous summoning power the scent of coffee had at it's own pace -- he wasn't in that much of a rush.

As far as a setting, Aoba's at least acquired a tree pre-loaded with lights and laden with decorations. Some of which are actually custom-made, featuring pictures of Aoba alone or random snapshots of Noiz. Aoba has tried to personalize it as much as his hermit boyfriend can allow. But there's one gift, a canister wrapped in garish gold, white, red and green paper and ribbon that drives home the significance of this holiday for him... at least when it comes to Noiz.

Whatever the case, he can hear Noiz shuffling down the hall and turns to welcome him. ]

Noiz, good morning!

[The smell of coffee is always a welcome one. When you live a very closed life where you only left the house for parts or food--an alarm clock and the need for a proper sleep schedule just Isn't something you invest in. Noise wasn't something that easily roused him, and neither was touch or movement. Therefore, Aoba's careful cooking of breakfast or even just brewing coffee had become an easy way for the hacker to rise from bed--kind of like training an animal.

He doesn't take his time in getting up today, as he was hiding an item in his room for a few days now. Anxious to wait for this kind of overrated holiday to present it to the other, once he's dressed in a plain pair of slacks and a shirt with a blocky rabbit on it, he makes his way out to the kitchen.
The greeting is bright, just like Aoba is--and he can't help but to smile.]

You're in a good mood.
As usual.

[Hm. He takes a moment to think about that. 'A Big Deal'? He's probably right about that--he does distinctly remember there being fireworks on this day, echoing outside that large, quiet room of his. He could see them from the window, and the flashes of wild colour had always been a joy for him to watch.

He couldn't quite see it properly from his room, but the housemaids always talked about parades and visitors showing up at the house for the holiday as well. As far as gifts went, he usually recieved things like clothing and food. His first computer having been a tool given to him for education, one where he'd eventually used to start his roots as a hacker.

He can't help but to smirk after a moment.]

It is. [He nods his head once, solidly. You're right, it is.]

So it's alright if you went overboard. [He takes the cup of coffee--leaning in to press a kiss just under the others's ear.]

I want to give you your gift. [Honestly, he's had it for a few days--and he's getting impatient.]
