Gift Shopping - Open

The problem in the Quarantine with shopping for gifts is one of time. See, shop too early the gift you pick up might not have someone to receive it by the time of whatever holiday you're looking for. Go shopping too late and, well, madhouse of last minute shopping. Still, it was better in Lola's mind to wait and see than to end up with a bunch of sad presents without owners.

So her shopping is a little late, anything too big for her bike she requests it be delivered to the mansion. Which... she's very convincing. Still, you can find her in just about every kind of shop. Womens clothes, mens clothes, electronics, furniture... checking out all shapes and sizes of leather jackets. Depending on the store changes how completely lost Lola seems.

Help a girl out? Or just say hi.

[ Sarah is hunting for gifts too, though she doesn't have many people here to give them to. Mostly she's thinking of Caleb, maybe Marinette, and, funnily enough, Lola.

She spots the other girl in a men's clothing store, where she herself was looking over shirts and ties and trying not to be disgusted with herself for going for such a basic gift.

Lola is a welcome distraction. ] Hey!

*Lola's looking at coats and jackets, or at her phone where she has some notes written down about what her friends wear. Men's fashion isn't her best subject but she can at least judge what she's found against what they wear. Which will help her pick things out. Lola's hair is a much more neutral brown as she's looking at things, well, meant for people with darker hair than her pastel palette.*

Oh, hi! Holiday shopping too?

*Lola's hair returns to her more standard blue as her attention turns to Sarah. But other than that she just seems glad to see a familiar face.*

[ Meanwhile, Sarah just... stares at Lola's head. ]

*Lola sighs. Hair going a little darker as she does.*

Your world has magic, how is my hair that weird in comparison?

My world has magic. I didn't say I was used to it.

[ Still, Lola's answer makes her smile. ] That happened here?

Around my birthday, so much easier than dyeing it every month.

Is it just blue or can you do other colors too? Not that just blue isn't totally cool, especially when you can make it change shade.

[ Sarah is kind of delighted by this particular brand of magic, actually. It's so different than what she's used to. Slowly, she's learning that not all magic is as dark as the stuff Caleb and Chase are stuck with. ]

Could I get my hair to do something like that?

*Instead of answering out loud Lola's hair turned bubblegum pink for a moment. Followed by a canary yellow, and ended off on metallic silver, before back to her blue she usually wears.*

I mean... maybe? I got a highly discounted price to get it done, it's like super expensive otherwise. And involves surgery, which kinda puts people off.

*Things normal people would be very interested in knowing before procedures, the sort of thing Lola only started to wonder about when everyone found the concept super disconcerting for them.*
