Where he was could very well have been home to him. Something was a little off about it, but it was close enough to what he knew that he felt almost as though he should have been here. The crowd moved around him and he through it as he looked here and there, pretending he could see better than he could and hearing and smelling everything and nothing all at the same time. It was a celebration of some kind, an event, some gathering, but he hadn't yet figured out which it was, what time of year other than winter - the snow was a dead giveaway.

One man seemed to be approaching him, talking with his companion, and didn't see the mortician standing there. The stranger looked up, laughing, and Undertaker went to move out of the way, just enough that they would miss each other, but something from the whole interaction was missing. The rush of air as the other passed, the feel of his coat pulling away from his legs in the artificial breeze. It hit him, what felt off about the world around him.

It was like he wasn't there at all.

He blinked, turned to watch the man and his companion depart as though nothing had happened. Hair shifted around him as he tilted his head, eyes hidden behind it squinting. Did that really just happen?

Undertaker turned again, looking around him, and intentionally held himself still as he did, waiting for someone to bump into him, if they could at all. "Would someone mind giving me the time? I seem to have misplaced my watch."

Now to wait for a response, if he would receive any.
