who: Jason Todd
what: More days around the city
when: 10-27/11-5
where: Floor Six, Perimeter Guard, Book Store, Rooftops and Riverview High.
warnings: None yet, will update.
Floor Six + Perimeter Guard
Jason had woken up in one of his moods, that much was clear by the way he sat at the edge of his bed with the covers half over his head like a cloak. Glaring a anyone and everyone that made any noise on the floor. It didn't help that he had only gone to bed a couple hours beforehand and it was a bad dream that jolted him out of his slumber.
Waiting to hear the shower kick off so he could steal the water also didn't help his mood when he saw the time and realized he was about twenty minutes later for work. The covers thrown back as he shuffled fast to tug on his guard uniform and strap his guns to his legs and tugged on his leather jacket as he rushed for the door forgetting his messenger bag by the bed.
After speeding on his bike through the city streets, barely getting by without getting caught by the police. He parked the bike and rushed into the headquarters. He still had healing bruises from the bar fight last week and he looked a mess but after some talking he made his way to get started on the days job.
Bookstore
Once he was free of the obligations of the day, Jason went to his favorite place, the little bookstore/cafe he often had lunch with Ciel at. Quietly moving through the shelves looking for something new to read that caught his interest. Stopping every now and then to look over the back of a book for a synopsis. It was the calm part in the day, just flipping through the pages of multiple books. He was still dressed in his uniform since he had forgotten his bag with the change of clothes and didn't feel like running home yet.
Once he found a book, he could he found at one of the tables nursing some coffee as he turned pages soaking in the simple lovely little story he had found.
Rooftop
Jason, no, Red Hood moved silently along the rooftops and back alleys. He was bored of laying low, of being good and letting the metas and other's handle everything. He missed the rush of it all. So even with his helmet on the fritz he moved as quickly and quietly as he could. Eventually he found himself with nothing to do sitting on the edge of a roof with the hood half lifted sipping a fountain drink while watching the city life below.
Riverview High School - Mostly Closed to Bruce Wayne
The last place a guy like Jason Todd needed to be was at a high school. He had never got to finish school himself, despite jumping from 5th grade drop out to top of his class at a Gotham private school within months of being taken in by Bruce. He and his adopted father had spent many nights after patrols talking about what kind of college he would go to, the path laid out for him, but he never made it that far. Never even got his GED when he came back. His vengeance had been more important, then life just swept him up.
He was only here for the same reason he had gone to that fancy school back in Gotham. For Bruce Wayne.
He was sitting outside, constantly looking at his watch, leaning on the hood of a rusted red 60's Mustang, dressed in dark jeans, a black t-shirt and a brown leather jacket. He wasn't sure why he had decided to stop stalking his father, and just approach him again, but clearly ambushing him at the end of a school day was better than approaching him at the communal housing.

She also remembered to order coffee for him when she picked a booth to sit in, so when he did find her, he would see that there was a whole pot of coffee on the table along with a mug. Just one. Just for Jason. Because Hana was preemptively working on a strawberry milkshake she'd decided to prelude her burger with while waiting for Jason. She was also looking down with her eyes glued to her phone and in spite of her tone in their exchanged texts, she looked a little worse for the wear, too. Sitting down it was hard to tell, but she was wearing black yoga pants, a plain, loose white tee and an athletic jacket with her hair up in two messy buns. Her signature pink whiskers were on her cheeks, certainly, but almost little to no makeup beyond that. At least if anyone could make a lazy look seem cute, it was Hana.

"Sorry I'm late." He had to stop himself from adding 'I didn't want to come' as he usually told people when he was late. As he actually wanted to see Hana. "You look about like I feel, you okay Hana?" He asked on as he doctored the coffee with to much cream and sugar. She was cute all the same, even half put together and clearly tired.
no subject
"I'm fine, just tired."
Maybe it was her body still trying to catch up on trying not to sleep for two weeks straight? It was a mystery. She twirled her straw between two fingers idly.
"So, can I at least know what the topic of all this is before we order burgers?"
no subject
"I need a woman's advice... I may have made an ass out of myself." he explained. "So shall we order then talk?"
no subject
"Yeah let's order right now."
If Jason was going to be vague or try and delay the real juicy talk, Hana wasn't going to have it. She was so ready. So ready that she was already scooting out of her booth seat, grabbing one of the menus on the table in the process, and walking off to the counter to place her order.

"Hows your robot doing? Still killer?"
no subject
"Um, my robot and I are always killer."
Please.

He replied with a shrug offering a tired grin her way. Thinking of the RoyBots and how often they fucked up. Being a former friend of a mad scientist of an archer left many adventures.
The food came up pretty quick as both trays were placed before them, Jay turned and lifted both, Alfred would have boxed his ears otherwise if the old man was in this world anyway. Putting both on the table he dropped back in his seat and took a drink of the coffee.
"Okay, so should I just tell you what this is about? Or explain it. I don't usually ask for advice."

She would start picking at the french fries, first, because potatoes were the best, and she looked up at Jason with an amused smirk on her face, holding a fry between her lips like it was a cigarette or something.
"Well, yeah, otherwise I'm just gonna make you tell me what this is about?"
So get to it, Jason.

"Do you smoke?" He asked after a sip of coffee. He sure did but he couldn't remember if he had lit up around her or not, After taking a bite of his burger and sitting it back down.
"Okay, well, what do you think counts as a relationship? It's relevant. And no, I'm not asking you out."
no subject
Still, she squinted at him as she considered her answer to his question. The first one is easy to respond to, at least: "No, but I'm pretty sure there's no smoking inside this place, guy."
She took another sip of her milkshake between answering.
"As for a relationship - I don't know? Obviously the two people involved have to have feelings for each other but I guess they also have to be actually committed in that relationship? Like, devoted to one another or whatever."
Aw, heck. Why do people keep asking her about relationship stuff. Truth of the matter was that Hana had somewhat limited experience in that arena, even if she was perfectly comfortable with flirting and going out on dates. Relationships were different.
no subject
"I was asking because of how your holding the fry. I know theres no smoking indoors, it's been illegal for awhile." AT least in Gotham anyway... mostly. He nodded some as he took a drink of his coffee before working in a couple onion rings while thinking about how to respond.
"But, that simplifies it to much, what about polyamorous people?" He sighed again. "People needing labels complicates shit. I'm no good at this stuff, hell, my ex made sure I knew that." He sighed some before taking a bite of the burger.
no subject
Chewing on the fry that she had held to her lips, Hana hummed as she considered what he'd said.
"I don't think that changes that much if you're polyamorous? You'd still have to be committed or whatever, just to multiple people," then she leaned forward, cupping her chin in her hands as she watched him chow down on his burger with curiosity, "Why? Are you seeing someone?"
no subject
"Shit, I didn't think about it that way. I guess I'm just a slut." He spoke like it was nothing, but truth of it was, he was the one who started all of the rumors that he was manho. He shook his head some and taking a drink of the coffee before nomming his stolen fries. "Not really, someone I care about just asked if I was in a relationship with them... and I ran." That last bit didn't sound proud, and she got to see him blush some.
no subject
"All they did was ask if you were in a relationship and you ran? Kind of extra, don't you think?"
She knew that he she was right, though, especially judging by the fact that he'd reddened.
"So if I said the word 'relationship' just, you know, randomly - does that just trigger a flight response from you?"
Now she was just teasing.
no subject
"...I said I had books to return to the library." He muttered as if that made it better. "Look, I'm the fucking definition of extra, Hana. It's half my charm." He shot her a sharp look after the last bit, taking a moment to take a bite of the burger and once he had swallowed he shook his head.
"I'm not sleeping with you, yet anyway, so no. It wouldn't." Yes, he said yet. It's crossed his mind.
no subject
She smirked a little and tilted her head coyly, saying, "Oh, not yet? Guess we'll have to see if you make good on that, huh, Jay?" before she chuckled and grabbed a french fry or five.
"Anyway, it sounds like you need to clear things up with that other person unless you wanna just keep running away from them like a coward whenever they say the word 'relationship."
no subject
"Call me anytime your lonely, I always have time for a friend." he replied with a wink before rolling his eyes once she finished.
"I'm working on it. Its why I wanted to get someone I trusted's input. And don't call me a coward."
i thought i tagged this my bad :(
She leaned back and splayed a hand across her chest, still so very amused.
"Aww, you trust me? That's got to be, like, the highest form of compliment you can give someone. I'm serious though, Jason. Just be honest with whoever it is."
She paused for a moment, looking thoughtful. "Are they cute?"
