When Magnus had suggested the costume, Alec had known that the suit would be the perfect even if he'd needed Izzy's help to pick it out. The cut and the fabric were perfect, reminding him of their trip around the world and some of the things he'd found in Magnus' closet that he'd been certain came from eras much older than Alec. He'd wanted the suit to match the effort that it would take to create the wings. Magnus' hard work deserved something beautiful to showcase it.

The fact that he'd known Magnus would be drawn to him while he was wearing the carefully tailored suit also made it an ideal choice.

Feeling that smile, he nibbled lightly at Magnus' lower lip, about to say something about dreams when his husband started playing with the feathers. Shivering at the strange sensation, he still wasn't sure why it felt so amazing. It couldn't just be because Magnus was touching him. "Are feathers normally that sensitive?" He didn't really expect an answer. How would Magnus know such a thing unless he'd given himself wings in the past?

His wings curled around both of them without thought, trying to draw Magnus closer while Alec tried not to completely forget his plans for the evening. "I - I " He pulled Magnus closer while making sounds that a few months ago would have made him blush. "I was thinking of pinning you down, but I was planning on riding you. Thought you'd want to see my wings while you make me forget everything but your name."
