This giant darkness that we call the Hunger. It attacks worlds and destroys them while searching for the Light of Creation, which is this super powerful thing. So we go from world to world and try to get it first.

[It sounded so... toothless to describe it like that. But hey, kids. Lup might not be the greatest with kids, but she had been one and damn the Hunger would have given her nightmares.]

...but at the end of every year, everything starts back up again and we have to go find it once more, now in a different world.
