Why is the city tormenting its people?
[Because that's what she sees it as -- tormenting. Being reminded of the dead is not easy, not with wounds that are apparently often too fresh as it is. She'd ask about the scene at hand -- not yet, anyway. She hasn't decided if she will or not.]
