[ The fact that Steve doesn't make it a fight when he so easily could, matters a lot to Tony. There are-- well there are things that he doesn't want to rehash, and that is one of them. There is still far too much guilt in his bones, too many ghosts haunting him about the choices that he has made in the past for him to be able to get through even the barest inkling of a fight with Steve right now.

This is a new place with new stories and damn if Tony isn't going to try to go back and make some amends. He has missed this with Steve, the bantering and casual camaraderie that came with years of knowing someone, even if there was still tension between them. That, Tony thinks, will never really fade.
