[She thinks about her friends, when he says that. They've never had a normal childhood, and they've never had a normal friendship. They weren't allowed to. It was a breath of fresh air for all of them, their newfound freedom, and despite the pain of Logan's decision to leave them... that night, around the campfire? It'd been a special kind of release. She felt... something. She felt less hollowed out. She smiled and laughed and there was no one around to tell them not to.

So she does understand, even if not completely. She understands being alone is the worst place to be -- and days spent in solitary for rash behavior has told her as much, too. She looks at him for a long (maybe awkwardly long) moment, scanning him, trying to figure out how to speak for herself. She can, but it doesn't come easy. Like the others, she had little room to express her wants and needs and opinions.]
