Fatima nodded, visibly relaxing a little as the conversation shifted away from maternity and breeding. "I get that. I mean, I've been taking a lot of notes." She patted her purse. "A lot of the worlds tend to be closer to mine than...what I imagine yours is like."

Although, Fatima herself felt very isolated. As far as she could tell, she was the only representative of her precise world, the one of Cainites. Not that she'd pulled the word out a lot. But most people she'd broached the subject with had very, very different perceptions of what vampires were like.
