As Letha starts to stand up, Eddie does too, reaches out to gently place a hand at the small of her back to help support her weight when it looks like she's shaky on her feet. When she stumbles, Eddie steps in closer beside her, looping an arm around her waist and smiling down at her, warm and encouraging.

"Well, you won't have to go through it alone. I'll be with you the whole time, and we can get a cab home together. A car, you know? Do you live in the communal housing?"

Tilting his head, he keeps the slight smile on his face, holds eye contact to help distract her from the flurry of noise and light.
