Ronan would be surprised if he'd heard that line of thought. It took people a long time to figure out he was halfway decent. Most never got there, not that he could blame them. He made it as hard as possible for anyone to find out.

Actually, he was kind of surprised anyway. The offer wasn't expected. Ronan hadn't gone out of his way to make friends.

He looped one finger around his flower crown and tugged it off. He let it slide down his arm so it hung just below the leather wrist bands he always wore. It didn't cover up the scars any better but they weren't too noticeable anyway. His cutting, blue eyes, sharp features, and the tattoo commanded the most attention.

"My first chance to see a dead guy get drunk. I'm in." Ronan grinned. "You pick the time and place."
