Eddie's seen the girl around a few times throughout the night - she sticks out, with her blue hair and big smile and the way she chatters to everyone. It's partly because of what seems to be her personality that he's kept an eye on her. Too used to the unfortunate sides of human nature, he's making a point to watch out for her, because a bubbly teen girl on her own at a party with alcohol is one of the most vulnerable things a person can be.
So when she comes up to him, he feels like he knows her a little already, and he offers her a bright smile, "I like helping. I don't mind the adult parties, but you're right, they're pretty crazy and it's too much to do every night. You know?"
Tilting his head, he laughs a little when she mentions a drink, "We could go grab one together. I've been sticking to whatever it is they're serving that tastes like Diet Coke. What about you?"
sorry this is so late. it's been a bad week.
