Ivar shrugged, Winter jostling slightly in his arms at the movement. "It was the right thing to do. Letha and I have been together for awhile and raising her up by herself was no way to do things. Children need fathers." Ivar sounded adamant and firm about that last part. He'd grown up without one and would be the first one to admit how that had screwed him up worse than he already was.
